I was kinda expected Makkine, considering what she did in MM3 (was acting like scum, didn't defend herself, was lynched and was the Doc). So RIP.
Well today is generally the only day we want to lynch distractions and future lurkers, I wouldn't be opposed to lynching Kippla but she at least checks the thread.

If you want to lynch me Day 1 just because you don't like me, you can go right ahead. That's all I have to say about it. Day just started and there's no evidence.
It's generally a good idea to do that Day 1 yes. It save town from potential headaches later on and the ones left trying to track scum left with some idea.
Okay then. IMO a no lynch would be a waste, esp. if there are players that could hinder us from finding Mafia. Lynch and hope for the best, here's greater chances of hitting a Townie but there's always a slim chance of Mafia.

Since we always lynch a distractor or lurker, I'll throw Ashtots name to the table. He hardly posted anything worthwhile from any of the games he's been in, and he just piggybacks on his brother, Trundle. But I would be fine lynching another lurker/distraction if people are more adamant about them. c:
There's also the new players to keep an eye on (Jawile, PurplPanda and reverie,), which we never know what to expect from them if they are mafia. But I don't think lynching them is fair, 'cause it's their first time playing, y'know?

I'd rather wait for more posts from the new folks before suggesting them as potential day one lynches honestly, especially since we have reverie, is catching on pretty quick. Assuming someone doesn't do it before me, I'll probably attempt to create something in the morning.

Thank you. I am kind of scared, so could someone explain what we are supposed to do? I understand that we all have our roles, and that we vote to lynch people, but what do we do during the day besides vote? Sorry if this is a stupid question.
Practically anything, but basically, you would want to discuss suspicions and plans for the game.
On day 1, we usually vote out distractions. I listed who are distractions a page back.
We usually discuss potential lynch candidates, why they should be lynched, etc. Day 1 is always hard, though, because no ones posted anything for us to go by. Therefore, that's why a lurker or distraction is voted day 1~

It's not a roleplay, just a reminder. Just talk normally as you would in real life.
Don't really know how to make a defense for myself on Day 1 lol, but I've been reading some of the previous Mafia games and whatnot. It's understandable that you guys think I might be mafia, since I'm new and everything. The best I can think of is that, as the game progresses, you guys will be able to see my alliance.

That's really not what we should aim for. Searching for scum is the primary goal, obviously, but if no one significant comes up, we usually go into the lynching of someone who is a distraction that has posted a few times. Don't get into the habit of doing something because that's how it "usually" works.
Basically, yeah. Of course we talk about stuff within the game though, not random stuff like "I poked your face LOL"
