Mafia TBT Mafia VIII: Dark Lord Ascending [Game Over/Town Win]

Alrighty I am now on. So, iunderstand the suspicion, I basically read the posts and agree a lot, which does look scummy. I am workibg on the evidence, I just have to wade through 50 pages to find it. And, just to address the anyone else thing, I was trying to get people to stop arguing, since that got extremly tedious, an I was trying to get people back on track.

So far in the game these five players have posted that they would roleclaim to Truffle. Now, this is just a possibility, but it would make sense that the people that publicly stated that they would roleclaim to Truffle, are hiding the fact that they are scum. There is no reason to post that you are roleclaiming, we all know that we should, so there is no reason to tell us that you are. If a mafia member was trying to hid the fact that they are mafia, I think a good thing to do would be to publicly claim that they are roleclaiming to Truffle in order to gain the trust of town members.

I would also like to note that most of these players will probably not aid town, if anything, they will hinder us making the game harder for town to win. For now, I'll be watching these five closely in order to figure out whether or not they are mafia, and I recommend you do the same. I know that this doesn't mean they should be lynched or even considered. I just want the town to watch these people for the reasons stated.

I would like to bring this post to attention once again now that LittleBeary has been confirmed as scum, and DarkNightMoon has a heavy case against her.

Just a few points:

- iLoveYou knew that Truffle would get himself modkilled by telling him what she told him (apparently).

- LittleBeary and iLoveYou both defended DarkNightMoon when she was being considered as possible hindrance and/or scum (Honestly this is either them framing her for no reason or she's scum. It's a stupid move on their part either way.)

The point is though, that everyone needs to roleclaim a specific name. The moment there are doubles, it'll lead to Mafia easily. If there's a huge amount of Townie roleclaims, then just target that group first.

I don't think there is a real need to quote DarkNightMoon's posts because we all know and her posts have been quoted a lot.

Now for a few players that are doing a disservice to town (except Tom).

FireNinja1: Been posting useless crap, being hypocritical when calling out Kit to take 20 minutes to take time to do something while he puts little to no effort into Mafia.

Tom: Really just hasn't said much done much. There isn't much I could gather from his posts.

Cory: Mostly just spam and attacking players that are similar to him in playstyle.

ACNL noodle: Has done literally nothing. Probably posted a few times but completely useless.

ITYW: Hasn't done anything other than post a couple times attacking people.

Pallycake: Posted maybe once? Hasn't done anything of value.

These players are mostly just useless and or haven't done anything so far in the game. We should be calling them out in hopes for at least some sort of response.

Now, I'm hoping that I'll be seen as confirmed town to most of you by now, but I know there will be skeptics (yes, I'm looking at you Oath, please don't shoot me for being pro-town this game). IF people wanted to me to handle roleclaims I would be willing, but I know there is pretty much no chance of that happening, so I continue to try and help in any way possible. I think we need to see a defense from DarkNightMoon before we decide whether or not we inspect her, and I still think we should keep an eye on the others from my original list of suspects.

I know Syd has been working with Karen in order to help town, although this could easily be deception, so I'm going to keep watching him.

I also realize that BlueLeaf hasn't really done any harm and has explained himself, though I will still be watching him regardless.

Now, when I first started writing this post, my thoughts were mainly on iLoveYou[/COLOR. My thinking was that the reason iLoveYou gave up so easily when it came to Truffle screenshot was because of the fact that she was doomed. Why would she be doomed to lose you may ask? Well, I figured that if iLoveYou didn't even bother trying to defend herself, her fellow scummates must be what we know as the typical "bad players". This made sense to me at first, but after iLoveYou claimed to know that Truffle and herself would be modkilled, I started thinking differently. My thoughts are that the rest of the scum may be very active and or stronger players, because iLoveYou sacrificing herself for a foolish scum team would be something she would never do if she wanted a win. Although this is only a theory, I think it holds water, and hopefully it will help determine who the rest of the scum are in due time.

These are my thoughts right now, I don't think I missed anything, but if I did hopefully I'll post something. :lemon:

I basically agree with this and would like to quote what he just said to Truffles.

There's no reason for Cory to comment on this whatsoever... It just seems extremely scummy for him to disagree with this in the way he did.

That last comment is what kind of got the ball rolling on the thought process. Trundle was the one that brought it up to me (since I was doing other things on the forum) and we kind of felt it out a little bit. It doesn't seem like he's doing anything besides hyperdefending himself, even against little jokes. I'm town, and I can admit that last screenshot was actually really... really smart on Iloveyou's part, but I thought it was pretty interesting to see how people do this mafia thing. To each their own I suppose.

As for Pally, I know she's around more often than she posts. I don't think I've ever seen her this unactive.

As for you wanting to have people roleclaim to you, it could still be an elaborate ruse on your part. I'm not quite sure yet. Yes, I think you're doing a lot here to gain trust, but I don't think I'll trust you just yet. We'll see where this goes.
 
Ok I am spamming because I am a bored townie. I will try to stop but to be honest I am not as interested in this game than I was in others.
 
It's a shame Truffle died, dat screenshot tho. In all seriousness, it's a good thing we found 2 scum in 1 day (both through slip-ups, lol). What IS annoying is that Truffle didn't reply to all of the posts, nor did he say if we were going on the right track with Kit and DNM.

But you could still do it yourself, can't you? Trying to get everyone back on track means that you are already on track, and you want people to do the same. Note: By "back on track," I mean discussing the actual topic at hand. If I recall correctly, you haven't really been doing so (often). I'm currently awaiting your defense.

Waffles, do you mind explaining how Syd could be a distraction? We don't know her behavior too well, after all. A new player doesn't mean a distraction (with few exceptions). She has claimed to be working with Karen, and Karen is most likely helping her and giving advice, so I don't get what you're saying.
 
I would like to confirm what BlueLeaf said about me helping Syd. I've explained to her some basic mechanics, advising her on how to play well and contribute to Town. She's shared a lot of suspicions to me (in fact -- she bought up DarkNightMoon before any of us) and yeah. She may have been distracting before but she's learning :)

Well Day 1 has been far more eventful than I think any of us could anticipate, two scum dead and one VIP blue. There's not much to talk about. Sure I could work on building some cases or "secret" alliances, but there's no point as the mafia are going to try and frame a few innos.

Sorry, but you didn't really answer anything that was said against you? Instead you sort of put the blame on Cory.

While I am totally suspicious of Cory, I don't know what to think of him. When he seems town he's scum, and when he seems scum he's town. But yeah anyway you didn't convince me.

Alright. I will do the best i can.
First Point- I agree with everything. Yes, I agree with everything, because i know this is not a excuse, and i know that you cant just forgive me, but this is literally my first game. I have no clue what good evidence is, so I look through replies and try to find something that sounds really right, and not just "Oh i hate this person i am just going to accuse them now." You all make some really good points, and i am a coward and scared of posting, because im afraid someone will yell at me or something.
Second Point- Not acting protown. Again, that is because i have no clue what i am doing. But also, since it is first day, i dont really know what you want. There is good evidence, but not alot of evidence, so i dont really have anything to post, making me neither look protown OR scummy.
Third Point-I say everything again. Yes, i say everything again and ask more questions, because (yes i am bringing this up again) there is not alot of evidence. I ask questions, because maybe we can find something else out about that person or post.
Im not sure if there are any more points, but if there is any more, please tell me and i will post.
