Giveaway Beau (Tell us your story!)

Beau is leaving my town today.

He is not 'original' (several furnishings have been removed or replaced, and he's wearing a new shirt). If this is a problem, well, the rest of the post shouldn't matter for you.

Based on the popularity chart here at TBT, I assume there are quite a few active members interested in getting him. I have seen auctions, first-come-first-serve, first-with-dreamie-proof, raffles, etc.

But what I want to do is, first of all and simply enough, to hear your stories about why Beau is special to you.

Next, however, I'd like to know how you've helped the Animal Crossing community, whether here at TBT or at other communities. I'm not looking for you to scrounge up proof, only to tell me your stories. Are you, or have you been, a cycler? Have you hosted giveaways? Helped people whose towns were destroyed by mean players? Seen someone offering their entire bells savings + other items only to fall short for their dreamie, and instead of staying on the sideline offered to add to that person's bid?

You don't necessarily have to be a 'rich' player to have helped the community, and I have confidence that the people who have helped recognize the instances, even if their instances of help were not as extravagant. Maybe you have a more personal story of a friend you helped? One player who you gave such and such item he was searching heaven and earth for. It doesn't have to be earth shattering examples.

I am also not expecting you to write a scholarly paper. Just treat this as a journal. Please, heh, for all our sakes.

I will let this run for a few hours. I do not have a precise time in mind, but I want enough time to have what I determine to be a decent amount of entries, and to leave enough time to find an entrant ready to adopt Beau.

I am not, and probably cannot, choose the 'best' story, especially if there are quite a few entries, and even if I tried I would be bound to upset people anyway. Instead, I simply want to read these stories, and choose from whoever is online at that time from among what is certain to be several great entries.

There is luck of the draw here, since there is no end time laid out. If that is still acceptable to you, by all means enter.

I randomly woke up and just saw your post! (Still scouring to help friends) This is very interesting~ I'll be sure to keep track of this post as well, I love reading stories like this. ^^

I want him so badly hmmm.. ok my story may not be fantastic since I'm not good in expressing my feelings and stuff. I currently have three dreamies actually: marshal, beau and fauna. I love deers since Diana comes to my town. I realized how cute and adorable they are especially Fauna and Beau whom I met several times in others' dream town. I particularly love normal and lazy villager so I guess Beau fits the bill. Also, I'm kinda giving up on getting Marshal since he's so expensive and I can't afford him and I always miss the giveaway, no matter how much I have been lurking on this forum I think having Beau in my town will be really cool too since he can befriend Diana. I could imagine two of them being a couple lol.

For my contribution to AC community, hmm well, I like to give free ores as a tip to the person whom I do a trade with, if I find them really nice and helpful. Also, I'm quite interested in helping people visit my town with Katie. (I'm not sure if all of these are considered as contribution lol)

i really want beau so here is a story of me ^-^ well i have an instagram account dedicated to animal crossing named @crossingmayors, i have over 1.4k followers which im grateful and honoured about, and i have held one giveaway filled with gracie items, sets and hybrids c: also i have helped many people out in the fandom who've been scammed by scammers by providing some of my items and supporting them in arguments and hates. I've had a several hate accounts who kept calling me mean things but the ig ac fandom has always been here for me and so have i. I've helped some crossers in the ig animal crossing fandom earn their wishlist items (for free) such as korean dlcs, japanese dlcs and rare items such as the newspaper hat, the cat tower, toy hammer and korean food items (cause i have a korean version of the game heh ^-^) hope this wasn't too long! and i hope i win beau heheh

A while back, I noticed that my my dreamy list was absolutely unbalanced. I lacked certain villager personalities so I decided to "rewrite" it. So when I was choosing a lazy, I found Beau adorable. I like his half closed eyes because that's kinda what you'd think of when you say "lazy". Aside from being adorable, his house looks awesome. It looks like some place you'd go camping. Some place you'd see deers live in.

I've been searching non-stop for beau ;A; he's one of my most favourite dreamies because he reminds me of a baby munkjack deer I rescued from underneath a fallen tree (later named Hamish) :3 all he did was eat and sleep the lazy thing!! So hes just like beau in a way ~ he was the world to me but we couldn't keep him so I volunteered at the rescue centre where we sent him and now he's running free with his other deer friends ;w;

I own a cycling thread called the spotted gecko and I love giving peoples dreamies to them for free because it makes me feel so happy when I get their over excited responses c': it brightens my day knowing how happy I would be if someone did that for me! n_n

Anyway sorry I rambled on a bit but please please consider me! He would be going to the best possible home ^^;

OK, last bump. I want to end this soon so if there are no more entries, the ones above this post will of course be the only ones considered.

I would love Beau! I lost Lolly last week and cried a little about that I wouldreally want a worthy replacement and Beau would fit great in my town.

I've been a cycler and have been doing raffles for a short while but not anymore hope to do that again in the future

Beau to me? Well Beau has always been one of my deer(dear) sweethearts, get it, deer, aha.. I've never been able to draw or write nice poems but I always looked out for a Beau of my very own!
I see people with a Beau, I'm very jealous of them all.. To have a Beau of my own, would mean the world to me!

And as to helping others, on my prev acc (which I forgot my pass to *sigh*) I gave away and cycled numerous villagers for others, it's not significantly generous but it was something I guess!
I haven't wrote much but, this is for Beau!

I think this is a good time to put a stop to entries.

Thank you so much to everyone who has entered. That it is hard to decide on a first choice to offer Beau is not empty words.

We had cyclers whose ratings are filled with excited, grateful recipients of villagers, people providing support for those who've fallen victim to scams on what should be such a laid-back, friendly game, mayors eager to give Beau a good home but who are too harsh on their ability to make their case and who feel always out of luck in giveaways, and players who've lost dreamies in an easily replicated mistake.

To make a decision more difficult, not everyone is here, and it is not practical to have all entrants here with such short time to organize.

That said, I will contact my first choice out of those who are online now.
