MARINA raffle!!! Woohoo!!

  • ANYONE can enter for Marina.
  • The raffle will have a point system included - each point is worth ONE entry into the raffle.
  • You can have a maximum of THREE points, thus three entries into the raffle.


You can earn points in the following ways:



Have Marina in your signature.

That's it. Be it her picture, her name listed under "dreamies," her sprite in your sig graphic, whatever way she's there, it'll earn you a point.


Draw a picture of Marina - however you feel the strongest.

You can use Paint, crayons, GIMP, pencil - whatever medium you prefer.


Write a story about Marina.

You can either write a true story about how much you want her, or a fiction that you've made up. You can write a short and sweet poem, a haiku, or even something simple and silly. You can write something long and heartfelt if you'd like, also.


Any other creative means I have not listed. Use your imagination!!

Bake a pie with her face on it. Record yourself singing an Marina song. Show off your Marina tattoo, or your Marina plushie collection. Anything that you can think of that I didn't that you think will show your love for this awesome octopus, display it proudly!!


ONLY ONE POINT FOR EACH CATEGORY! You can't draw three pictures or write three stories to get three points.



Things that will disqualify you:
  • Making fun of someone's entry in any way.
  • Offering me bells or items - she is not for sale, and I can't be bribed.
  • Sending a PM about this raffle in order to sway my decision. (Questions are always welcomed!)
  • Plagiarizing. I can and WILL Google image search!



You will not be notified if you are disqualified; I simply will not add your entry into the drawing.

The drawing will take place tomorrow, 6/28 at 2PM, EST. Entry cut-off time is 1:30PM tomorrow, so I have time to read all the stories and see all the pictures.

If there is not enough interest garnered on this site, I WILL CROSSPOST THIS RAFFLE, but only entries that are posted in this thread will be considered. With that being said, a new member to this site may win this raffle! Everyone has a chance!

In January, I lost one of my villagers (Blanche). I thought I would use that opportunity to campsite reset to get Marina. I figured, how long could it actually take, right? I tried campsite resetting for a couple of hours a day for the last 5 months. I eventually decided that too much time had passed since I actually played and enjoyed the game so I gave up. The worst part? I have had her show up in my campsite 3 times last year but didn't have the space to have her move in. Just my luck.

Entered! :) Sorry about your luck! I was lucky enough to find her on reddit the other day, and I only paid 3.5mil for her! I started cycling again just to find new villagers, and decided Marina was the one...but after I found her on reddit, she showed up in town! So, now I get to make someone else happy.

Sooooo... I'm feeling a bit lonely in thread, since no one is lurking. Regardless, since no one has pointed out errors in my point count, I will now do the drawing! Yayyyy!!
