How much for her?
Free. However, see details below for how to enter.

How do I enter for a chance to invite her to my town?
There are two ways to enter:

1. Share the story of how you have helped the New Leaf community, whether here or at other websites; e.g., you hosted giveaways for villagers, sets, etc.; helped people to find their 'dreamies' for free; helped people fix their town after getting it ruined by a mentally disturbed guest. I am looking for story, not proof, of how you helped the community, so focus on details rather than links. Also, I am not expecting a scholarly essay, but certainly include all the information you think relevant.

2. If you adopted a 'tier 4' or 'tier 5' villager from me, show me the topic or private message where I discussed giving you the villager. If entirely via PM but you erased the message(s), you'll have to hope I remember and am certain of giving you the villager. If you choose this way of entering, you don't have to include a story, but a story will not count as two entries because the selection process, which I discuss below, does not work that way.

Got an example of a decent story someone submitted?
There are plenty, but here is one: http://www.belltreeforums.com/showt...your-story!)&p=3109961&viewfull=1#post3109961

So the best story wins, right?
As hinted above, I will not necessarily be picking the 'best story,' and even if I tried I am bound to disappoint people anyway. I'm just going to pick among promising entries and who is conveniently online at the time I arbitrarily decide to deny anymore entries. (So I might end this in a few minutes, an hour, a day, or several days; who knows.)

In other words, it's like musical chairs, except you need to give your story (or show me proof of 'tier 4' or 'tier 5' adoption from me) to enter the game, and since I am looking for 'promising entries,' those who did not choose entry method two and seem to me to clearly not care about actually sharing their story might not make it into the pack of entries I will select from.

You will announce the winner?
Not publicly: I will contact the winner privately. If the person chosen does not reply in an arbitrarily determined time frame (after all, this is musical chairs), I will privately contact another winner. This will take place after I have announced that I am no longer accepting entries, and have locked the topic.

Should I have space available when entering?
Yes.

May I enter for someone else?
Most likely no. Maybe you can convince me otherwise, but it better be a tear-jerker.

Will promising gifts improve my chances of winning?
No, silly.

Noted. But what if I insist on gifts anyway?
Gold armor pants, gold shovel, or holly starts, please. Or bring whatever you want.

What if I just want to enter for a chance to 'sell' Merengue?
Death awaits you.

That's not nice.
Die now.

Is she 'in boxes' and 'original'?
Yes and yes.

What town and FC to get her?
Koriko at 4313-1249-5334.

ive helped my friend on the jvgs fourms find one of her dreamies and currently are helping two people find they're dreamies.

1) I have assisted strangers and friends in completing their Dreamie list in form of stalking Cycle threads or contributing their Dreamies from my town. Villagers from my town, Rhapsody, are always given out for free, and none of them (save Charlise due to inexperience and connection issues) are voided so far.
2) On the note of giving away villagers, I do adopt villagers from cycle threads just so I could give them to people I know who would want them (Lolly and Francine being recent examples).
3) I try to take note of the Dreamies people may have and direct them to where their Dreamies may lie. This may be in form of cycle threads, giveaway threads or friends who have said Dreamies but do not want them.
4) I have held a Giveaway in Facebook before, giving out wrapped items (consisting of normal to Gracie furnitures) as a form of a game.
5) I have assisted in holding a villager (Monique) for a player who intend to reset her town.
6) I have also spared my beach for someone to dump their items just so she could reset her town.
7) I have also given out Bells and Furnitures to strangers and friends who either have gotten their town destroyed, gotten scammed or has a goal to achieve (may it be surprising their loved ones with gifts or saving up to buy a rare villager).
8) I have also helped out newbies by answering questions of ACNL mechanics or directing them to Guides.

While typing this... Somehow, I'm reminded of those who have done me good deeds. In fact, their kindness inspired me to help others and give back to the community. I may not have adopted 'tier 4' and 'tier 5' villagers from you, but I do have unpopular villagers like Rocket and Knox as my permanent villagers. Even if Merengue were to move away, I will promise you that she will be give away for free to a good home.

Thanks to the two who've entered.

Just want to make sure nobody else is interested before closing this topic?

i have held a few giveaways here on TBT, starting the day i joined. i have rehomed quite a few villagers and i have given away tons of items on tumblr. i'd love to have merengue in my town, such a cutie!

I hold giveaways from time to time, and I always love giving people their dreamies for free! One time this guy wanted Tom and they were willing to pay millions and I just said "Well looks like you're getting Tom for free then!" They were so happy I was happy. I just love helping others, when someone needs something and they say they don't have enough bells or whatever I just let them have it for free. This community has been so nice to me and I love being generous to them.
I also hold villagers for my friend, since sometimes she isn't always able to pick them up. I do giveaways on Facebook all the time, since I feel like the people trading on facebook are a bit more greedy with their bells :c
I've helped people with cleaning up their town. Although the people that ask me just need me to pick fruit and dig up bamboo shoots.

Well there's how much I helped, *crosses fingers*

OMG! I am so wanting Merengue! What have I done to deserve such a gift? Probably not near enough, but I have done my best to be always kind and thoughtful of others ... (I am uncomfortable praising myself, so I will modestly relate just a few things)
I have given items to some who really wanted them, done a few fun giveaways, and recently, resolved a problem with a member when a technical error in a trade caused a devastating loss ... (by recompensing with lost bells and generous gifts) This experience taught me how supportive the forum is and made me more determined to give back whenever I can ... still looking for ways to do that! ... I also gained some good friends thru it all.
I love my villager peeps! I never want to have them leave, so Merengue would find a forever home with me too! I get them settled in, and never worry that their homes or clothing are altered! That's just part of life in Tubetown. lol
Thank you so much for the opportunity to enter this Giveaway! ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
PS ... Did you notice my Signature Line? :)

I don't want to drag this out too long, so I'll end this game of musical chairs here.

Was hoping to get more entries for the number one 'tier 1,' but glad to get plenty to read, nonetheless.

Again, it is hard to decide. I can't help but think of that Regular Show episode where Mordecai and Rigby judge a pie-cooking contest, and think it's going to be easy, a miscalculation that almost costs the lives of everyone in the contest when an enormous, monstrous, man-eating pie starts rampaging.
