Well, you don't have to play online in any AC games... in New Leaf they had that annoying 100 visit requirement for unlocking the train station remolds, but you could skip those...
It sure was fun though, getting visitors

Yes, I got it! I don't have the online paid subscription though, so I can't play online... but I've been enjoying it since the 20th!
