    for pixelart i've been using pyxeledit... which is a bad terrible thing, because it's extremely unsupported... but i can't get into a tool that doesn't have super good support for tiles! my brain works in tiles! i had never tried pixquare until now, it seems nice except i can't draw tiles XD

    I chose Pixquare specifically for the tileset system that it brags about: https://www.pixquare.art/
    But honestly, I'm not that advanced in pixel art, yet. I literally have 3 pixel art pieces and just started fiddling yesterday. XD

    blobs are good! your Kirby is so cute! much better to think in blobs than in squares.
