your thread is super interesting to me, and I definitely feel like I can relate. online I have tons of friends but IRL there's really no one I'm close to. I'm really not sure WHAT HAPPENED except realising that a lot of the people I used to hang out with just didn't share anything in common with me and when you know people online who have a ton in common with you... who would you rather talk to? still though, it's hard to rely on just having online friends so you gotta know some people and in turn that can lead to relationships with folks that feel sorta fake and it's a messy situation. in whatever case, i hope you're not lonely! there's someone out there for everyone, certainly.
