You could potentially just make a cliff there in that exact spot, and put either the normal stone path on top of it to look like it's a part of the castle, or some custom design path, to fill the space. That spot is fairly tight, so a traditional pergola or two inside probably wouldn't fit...

I added an outdoor library section in top center portion of my island, and did a bit of villager hunting today. I ended up taking Chief, instead of the couple of villagers I was hunting for.

I actually like CJ the most, followed by Flick and Daisy Mae. I remember when I got the game originally, CJ came pretty quickly to my island, and it was quite fun early on

I came across them 3 or 4 times before they got removed. I distinctly remember the windflower one, and I'm pretty sure I came across another variation of a hybrid island as well.

Most of my favorite villagers are lazy and normal. I think just for designs and such, I'd go lazy, but for interacting with villagers often, and having to deal with the pretty limited dialogue in ACNH, I'd choose normal ultimately. If only there were more variety in the dialogue like adding in...

Honestly it's a tough call as there are way too many to choose from. My top two would be Bones and Poppy though. I could easily switch that for 5 or 6 others that are close in cuteness :)
