Born of a simple villager girl, I had no memories or items of my mother except her birthmark, an eye, on my shoulder. My father sold me at a young age to the slave trade, where I worked until I was bought by an old man. He smelt of spices and mysterious things. He told me 'the birthmark was a sign of a hero', that 'I must defeat what was evil in the world'.
So I did just that. He gave me provisions at set me free. Even though I had traveled the world as a slave, travelling it once you are free gives the world life. I became stronger, faster, more knowledgeable. I'd thought the evil was your own self, your own evil. But I soon realising that a beast was ruling our lives. I vowed to help everyone defeat him. I made good friends, friends that would stay with me forever.
I met the beast on a misty mountain top. We battled for hours, until he made a split-second error, enough for me to sink my blade into his belly. His blood was cold and stank of dying men. He pulled me closer, and looked me in the eye. he pulled my head towards his, and whispered in my ear 'the game'.
