I hate showing my legs, but I also hate being hot, so... Temperature where I'll start going outside in shorts is probably somewhere in the 60s. Might be 50s under particular conditions.

Right now I eat at home pretty much exclusively, but throughout March and earlier this month my parents were here and we did go out to eat quite a few times. However, now that I'm alone again it's back to eating only stuff I can prepare at home, at least until I have more money.

I saw some snow flurries earlier, but it is partly sunny now. It's in the mid-30s. I know it's a little chilly, but I like it.

Launching with a new Mario Kart probably makes this the most exciting launch for a Nintendo system for me in ages. Like it's been going back to the GCN to have a launch with a good new multiplayer game for me (and even in that case, Melee was a launch window title, not even a true launch title...

I'm in my mid-30s, so yes, I have many friends who are married or engaged. I have very few friends who are single. It is lonely to be single at this age... Even people I never thought would find someone found someone before me... (but I can't sit here feeling too sorry for myself when the truth...

I'd like to know all of the western European languages including the defunct language of Latin. I am a music history nerd so knowing all of those languages would be really neat. I haven't ever succeeded in learning a second language, though. I took a few semesters of French, so French is likely...

My parents are visiting me for a while. This is my mom's first time seeing the state and I'm really excited to get to show it to her!

I'm extremely scared of the federal government cutting Medicaid and SNAP. Most of my life I haven't had to be on either, but since I moved, they have been lifesavers for me while I am in workforce training and not bringing in income. If Medicaid didn't pick me up, I could be tens of thousands...

I dreamed that it was the end of a semester and everything was out of control - final exams I hadn't studied for that I was taking, papers and other work that I hadn't completed, etc. This is a recurring dream for me and it is quite stressful. D: I don't know why I keep having it. Ugh.

It's snowing outside. Looks like we got an inch or two.

Most of my plushies (and all of the video game related ones) are still packed in a box at my parents' house, so I can't take any pictures right now. The ones I have are - a decent sized Galarian Ponyta, a Glaceon and a Sylveon. I'd love some more Pokemon ones and, of course, some Animal Crossing...

I have an iPhone 11. I got it in the late summer of 2021.

Just the typical ear piercings. I am not really enthusiastic about other piercings. I don't like to stick out. lol

My parents really spoiled me and got me Apple Airpods Pro 2 for Christmas! For my birthday, they got me two pairs of earrings which I got to pick out. One of them isn't in the picture below (it's silver scallop shells).

I love Christmas lights and trees! I have several themed trees I like to put each year, and I keep finding more nearly each year. lol
