She could've been voided to your town, I would check in the next few days. Something similar happened to me once, I was set up to get Phoebe from someone but said person had an emergency and couldn't do the trade. Three days later, Phoebe was in my town! I'm sorry I wasn't able to get back to you.

Usually. You can check which cycle threads are the most active by the last post date from the OP (original poster). Obviously you dont want to post who youre looking for in a cycle thread when the OP hasnt posted in a few days. So, usually ones on page 1 and 2 are your best bet IMO. =]
