theyll send their tbt to you through the tab that says "currency." they change the name displayed to your username and then type in the amount. it will automatically be added onto the amount you already have, and you will get a pm from an npc saying you earned however many bells

it does take awhile for the welcome gift to arrive, as far as i know. and good luck

also; it would take you awhile to accumulate that many bells just from posts. although youll get a welcome gift that is well beyond what you need for ruby, you can acquire more bells from selling things, services, exchanging igb (in-game bells) for tbt on certain threads, or even entering tbt giveaway threads.

villager prices are based on their tiers. theres 5 tiers, and lower number tiers have more popular villagers (tier 1 = most popular, etc.) ruby is a tier three so she usually goes for around 50-75 tbt. but you cant get her from me any more, because the auction is already over (sorry!) although i might be able to get her again for you sometime

tbt is the currency on the forums you get from making posts! since you're new you'll get around 700 as a welcoming gift. you can also send people tbt as payment for certain things, like villagers!
