I'm a mom who got interested in ACNH by watching my daughter play. As a Gen-Xer, I'm no stranger to video games, but was never as into them as many of my friends. A few games catch my interest every so often however, and this one certainly has.
My island is named after one of my late cats, Mr. Fluff. We adopted him when he was 16 years old and were told he didn't have long since he had kidney disease and hyperthyroidism; however, he stayed feisty, happy, and spoiled rotten for 2 years. If I didn't go to bed by about 11:30 or so, he would come down the hallway yelling for me. We called him Curfew Cat. He had quite the personality. I've had many cats over the years and have loved them all, but my island is named Flufington in memory of Mr. Fluff. He would have been a cranky for sure.
