Hey hey people, welcome to my first blog on here! Since this is my first blog, I thought I'd do a blog on an introduction to myself. Some of you have probably figured out a lot about me through my posts. But I figured I could probably come up with some more things!
I typically go by Magix or Nessa on here, and most websites. I even go by Nessa on my facebook profile lol. I kinda forget to say that Nessa is a nickname, not my real name. My full name is Vanessa, but I go by Nessa most of the time irl and online. Overall, I don't really mind what name people call me by as I have a lot of nicknames lol.
I'm currently in my third year of University, studying Natural Resources Engineering. Usually when I say I'm doing Natural Resources engineering, people often give me a confused look or a "what?" or "huh??". Natural Resources Engineering (Nat Res for short) is kinda a fancy way of saying Environmental/Ecological Engineering. It's like a branch off the more well-known Engineering discipline, Civil Engineering. That's the best way I can describe it!
Things I like/hobbies:
- I like making art - or what I classify as art anyway. Making signatures & avatars, editing art pieces, photography and photo editing. I may post some of my art here in the near future
- playing video games - obviously, I am posting on an AC forum after all I play a lot of Splatoon (once again, obviously), and a bit of everything else. I don't often play AC anymore, I'm on and off, but I still help people out with trades when I can. I still play occasionally on my Wii U and Xbox 360. I don't play on PC because it's just not my thing and I don't have a PC that could handle most games lol.
- I guess listening to music is a hobby - I listen to a wide range of music. I enjoy some of the latest pop music, but I'm a bit picky in that area. I listen to a lot of Muse, Queen, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Imagine Dragons, Linkin Park, Panic! at the Disco, Fall Out Boy...The list goes on really But my top favourite artists are Muse and Queen!
- collecting stuff - yeah, as I've said in previous posts, I like collecting merch from my favourite games, movies and artists. I have a lot of amiibo's and Nintendo related figures, which I'll probably be dedicating future blogs to this and will go into more detail!
- crystals - a recent obsession I've picked up lately I think there a few other people here obsessed with crystals like me, so hit me up if you wanna fangirl with me or share info!
I guess I'm quite "nerdy" in some ways. I do have a passion for science and maths (even though I'm always that good at it).
Funnily enough, I'm not a fan of reading or writing. Writing, you say? But you're writing a blog! That is quite ironic, I agree, but I guess I like waffling on about random things
