I'm most likely quitting TBT.

There, I said it.

I do not hate TBT. I enjoyed my experience here, but I think it's time to move on. For whatever reason, a new Animal Crossing game hasn't released or even been announced despite it being over five years since the last one, and I barely play ANY AC game anymore.

I've gotten bored of TBT over the past few months, the marketplace has been very slow, and the site has been broken over the last week.

This giveaway is good news for other TBT users, since, like I said before, the TBT marketplace has been so slow it's not even funny.

Since posts are not showing up and are even disappearing somehow due to the site's brokenness, I guess I'll do this giveaway differently than I usually do? Maybe?

Just post on this thread and for every post you make you'll get a little bit of TBT I guess. Giveaway ends when I run out of TBT.

(If anyone's interested, I could also maybe giveaway my ACNL bells?)

if Nintendo finally announce a new AC game for the console and the forum get a bit more

I don't know since I hated NL. Especially since you'll have to pay for online features on the Switch. Hoping the next game will be more like GCN and City Folk than New Leaf and Pocket Camp.

(Also, you can post more than once to get more bells... just saying this since I'm not sure if people know this.)

I can't say exactly since we would be here all day and TBT is broken and slow anyway, but I felt like it lost the charm that previous AC games had.

By the way, since posts seem to be working kind of ok now, whoever gets post #100 will get 100 bells like KingTacoz!!

I see. And I kinda agree with it that it lost the charm. What bothers me the most is that the villagers
behavior is not the same as in the older games anymore. The crankies for example are too nice for my
taste, haha.

There's much more to it than the villagers. The art style, the music, Isabelle, the not as mean and optional Resetti, the fact that you need to UNLOCK K.K. Slider, etc..

Wow, one of the first people I've seen actually say they hated NL, but I can understand why you wouldn't like it.
I grew up with Wild World, so another game like that would warm my heart tbh

I kind of liked the chilling out of cranky villagers. I despised Apollo and such as a kid but now it's too tough to hate them

I agree about K.K and Resetti being problems, K.K because he has to be unlocked and Resetti because he is optional in every single way (You can lie to him to get off easy and you decide whether you want to build the RC).

My love for the game outweighs my annoyances thankfully.

I agree somewhat. Like.. seeing Cranky villagers be like,,, only kind to you if you had a decent friendship level with them is something I could get behind.
