There are many quality of life changes I would like to see, but one of the biggest is the crafting system. I wish it was possible to craft multiple things at once, customize items without leaving the crafting menu, etc.

I think if I could change one thing about NH, it would have to be the loading cut scene that plays every single time someone visits/leaves an island. Its so frustrating to have to sit through a million intro/outro sequences when you are visiting an island to catalog, sell turnups, etc. Sometimes I choose not to visit an island out of sheer annoyance for the constant interruptions of people coming and going. I don't really know how to fix this issue, as there are multiple ways that you could solve it. But anything at this point would probably be 100% better than the current system smh

I would make the animal villagers interact with things a bit more. I know a lot of people didn’t like Pocket Camp but one cool thing about it is how the villagers (or campers) interact with the furniture. If you set out food, they’ll have that specific food in their hands, or they’ll blow bubbles, ride cars, float on balloon furniture, etc. It’s really cool and it helps give them more of a personality. While they do a bit more in this game, there’s still not as much depth to them and they just do the same stuff all the time. If they’re not gonna get more in depth personalities then they can at least be more interesting to look at as they interact with stuff.

this is so generous of you!! if i could change anything, it’d be the tool durability - while breaking tools isn’t foreign to the series with the regular axes, the fact that every kind of tool breaks now, including the golden ones, is kinda ridiculous imo ;w;

One thing I would change is when going inside the fridge or deep freezer instead of it having to do with food at all you can change your clothes. I think it would be cool if you could store your turnips in there instead of having to leave them in a room in your house.

I would increase the number of pattern slots. I know it seems like an odd thing to choose given all the other more "useful" ones. But the creativity in this community is astounding and I am constantly having to make hard choices about what I want to use.

If there was one thing I would change would be if there was a more accessible in game cataloging system, I mean a way to see your catalog, instead of needing an outside website or app to easily sort and see what you have on hand, versus what you just have cataloged; and being able to filter items based on whether or not it's reorderable, or if you wanted to just see the things you have cataloged from Sahara for instance.

The one thing I'd probably change on this game is the golden tool and it's durability. I'd make it way harder to get but in return, it's unbreakable so it'll have a big pay off for people who has it who won't worry about breaking their tools anymore

i wish we could add our own footstep sounds to custom paths! i really adore the custom patterns i see in screenshots and on other islands, but i'm not willing to sacrifice the sound of our footsteps for that ;w; it would be great if we could have both!
