This is the last part to my year in review. The last third wasn't as exciting as the other two, but that was the third I was primarily on TBT. If you want me to share my best and worst experiences on TBT, this isn't the blog entry you're looking for. I won't review much on my experiences on TBT, but I will talk about what I did.
September:
At the beginning of the month, I published another FAQ on GameFAQs and shared another Lego model, but they have already been done earlier, even if they are different to what I did earlier. I was also planning to join TBT, and the day I specifically chose was September 9th.
On September 9th, I have joined The Bell Tree Forums. I like their pretty fall background. When I first loaded up TBT on my computer, I immediately registered and paid close attention to the rules. I wanted to blog there and share my patterns, but after seeing the forum currency thing and collectibles, I developed a huge interest into collectibles. Every day since I joined TBT, I never stayed offline for an entire day, and up until December 15th, I haven't went a single day without blogging. I mostly spend time in the Basement and Brewster's Café forums, but I go all over the site.
Throughout most of my last third of 2014, I was focusing on college work and Bell Tree Forums, but I did other things as well. Back in September, I was only a noob, but as I posted more and more, I got fame. Yeah, I have been pretty rude a few times (including the times I get rude for the fun of it), but I also have expressed my sweet side on this site. But most of the time, I get a reputation for focusing on my characters a lot, especially when they're in my sig. I talk about many things on the site, and it's not just limited to Animal Crossing or collectibles. I bring up Disney, Food Network, Little Big Planet, and many other subjects.
October:
Because I mostly spend time with college and TBT, I didn't do too many exciting things for October beyond this site. I remember back in October, there was a huge giveaway thread where people type in random numbers to get certain prizes. There was also a candy collectible craze where the site lags (I kept failing to get candy). My blog was mostly about places of entertainment, museums, and items/mayoral features.
In real life, I watched Halloween Wars on Food Network and my iPad. I made my grandma watch the entire series as of that point. I also played Zoo Tycoon and for the first time in ten years, I made a really good zoo in-game. I had to write an academic analysis on Disney's Frozen for my English class. I went through the worst of my Geology Lab class (Cartography is not science btw). October wasn't the best month, but it was alright. In regards to Halloween, I carved two funkins, filled four shot glass skulls with food colored water as a decoration, and I even passed out candy on Halloween.
November:
As the year was ending, I was preparing for Christmas. On TBT, I saw it get crazier. There was a rise in pizza threads in Brewster's Café. After discussing the election, politics threads were opening as well. And when a whole bunch of spam threads opened, there was a mass banning (even when the bans were ephemeral). The users were so entertaining. I'm not trying to be mean.
But real life isn't as good as TBT life. November was a pretty mixed up month for me. I went to the Syrup Festival out of town for the fifth consecutive year (and I was still on TBT thanks to my iPhone). There was the 2014 elections, and I liked the turnout. The Ferguson thing was crazy. Because I hang out on the site, the other users have created some huge influence, like when I watched PMMM's first episode. I got LBP3. I celebrated Thanksgivings at my grandmother's house. Last, but not least, I finally got the catalog maniac gold badge in ACNL, the badge I wanted most.
Yeah, November was very mixed up, unlike previous months where there was something significant and ordinary.
December:
The year of my stomach surgery, Coushatta visits, and my TBT registration has come to an end with the month of Christmas, December. In real life, I celebrated Christmas and opened presents like every year. I liked what I got this year. In addition, my college semester was over. I went to a Christmas party on a Main Street restaurant. December would have to be the best month of this third. However, the worst part was that LBPC (the site I came from) was hacked, and it was worse than ever before.
But what I like more is my TBT experience. In December, I made my fourth voluntary, but secret, giveaway to someone, I finally got the chocolate cake collectible, I got the patch and two balloon collectibles, and I enjoyed the TBT fair. I may talk more about this tomorrow, but December was my best month on TBT.
That's all for the year 2014. I hope 2015 is just as good as 2014, but bad years happen all the time. 2014 and 2011 were the better two years of the decade so far while I didn't like 2012 or 2013.
