I'd love to do something like this! I'm trying to do something vaguely similar with my gift art shop, but it's certainly not secret santa. In fact, I haven't ever participated in a secret santa...

Okay we have some people! I honestly thought this would go bust.
I think we should give out art New Years Day, it's close enough to Christmas or Hannukah but not too far from the holiday season as well. The thing I'm not sure about is when to close submissions, I want to give everyone enough time to draw, what with the holidays being busy. But if I leave them open for too long then there's the possibility that people will drop out from being too busy, risking someone not getting art. In which case I'd pick it up but still, I know there are more talented artist then myself.
Since it's the 9th now, what about keeping submission open until the 15th, then I'll randomly assign people a ref the 16th and then they'll have Decenber 31st to submit their final product?

Not really, it's really up to whoever draws it. I'm mainly traditional so I'll prob go that route but I know many other people are digital so I can't rule that out either. Just somethin that's holiday/wintery I'd say.
