3D Modeling???

yep, you see the title correctly!!! I'm thinking about 3D modeling different Animal crossing villagers and such!
Now This would take a long time per Villager, but i think it would be something really cool and possible something i could make and sell for btb. I'll be using blender to start off with!

So what do you guys think? Want to know anything? Just ask me!

this sounds super cool, I've only ever modeled like 1.5 things and I used sculptris, not sure how much easier blender makes it but sculptris was hard.
How much do you think you'd be charging? I'd love to order from you when you get this rolling. 3d models are so much fun.

i have sculptris too, and yea, it does seem pretty hard!

and tbh i would have to charge about 500-750 for each new one i have to make (because it takes so long)
and 250 for each one i already have (because i did spend a lot of time on it so i still want a good amount)

I still have to get good at blender first though xD I got all of summer too though xD

Would you be painting them at all or would it just be the grey/red model thingy itself? not sure how blender works but in sculptris you can paint the model and that + actually modeling the thing would take like forever, so tbh I wouldn't go under 750 TBT lmao

I dont know if Blender does paintings but i can easily get a software that does!

A really well made model sells for $100+
So a decent one would sell for around 1k TBT

Wait, are you asking how to use blender? Because there is a manual and one of the most helpful wikis ever.
