Hi everyone,
I bought this game to play with my daughter as we enjoyed City Folk on the Wii. It has been so helpful passing the time during this isolation of stay home orders. My daughter loves to fish & work on her house but I’ve taken over the terraforming & decorating the island. I love this aspect of the game and finally got most of my island terraformed the way I want it and are now trying to decorate. I’ve seen people have wishlists on different sites so I have to figure out how to make one & list what I have to trade somehow. Since I didn’t plan my island well, I’m spending all my bells on moving & rebuilding so I can only trade or offer NMT. I’ve never played with strangers before so I’m nervous about scammers but the overall feeling I get from posts are people are nice on this forum so that makes me feel better for when I figure out how to trade. I have been lurking for a week or so since I found the forum & learned how people share their designs for paths so I figured out how to download a few and had fun with that. Any suggestions of where to post a wishlist & what I have, would be appreciated. Also I’m trying to figure out all the abbreviations I see so if anyone has a guide for that, it would be helpful.

hi there!! welcome to bell tree <3 happy to see you. everyone here is really nice and you can even check feedback stats to make sure whoever you’re trading with has a good reputation if you’re worried about scammers! you can post your wishlist in the nooks cranny section, i guarantee you’ll find some people to trade with quickly! off the top of my head: LF = looking for, FT = for trade, bump = bring up my post, FS = for sale. you’ll learn as you go!! :giggle: anyways see you around!

Hello and welcome! If you're looking to venture into the trading world, might I suggest these two sites that may be helpful for you in creating your wishlist: Nook Exchange and Nookazon. Nook Exchange is very easy to use, has a full catalog of all the items in the game and can aid you in making your wishlist. After you're finished making your wishlist, you can hop on over to the forum section Nook's Cranny and post it there, hopefully some nice people will be able to assist :) You can think of Nookazon as the Amazon for AC, it's a little bit more complicated to use but once you get the hang of it, it gives you access to a huge trading network and you can pretty much find whatever you want in minutes. If you have any questions regarding those websites, feel free to PM me!
