Oooh thanks so much for making the video! Aaaw Booker was so sweet when you called him up! He lost his house?! Haha. The dialogue was the best and it was great to see what music he liked and that you get a picture of him!
I've only got the free amiibo I got from the game and haven't tried using it yet (Saharah) so I didn't know that the villagers could leave the designing up to you! Haha that sounds as risky as letting a hairdresser in real life do whatever they want with your hair!
It was really funny to me because I fulfilled a request by a villager I had never seen before, Harry, and he wanted a really sloppy house full of junk and sloppy furniture. Then really weirdly, he was the next villager to move into my town in acnl when I was down to eight villagers. When I went into his house, I found out that it was a very clean bathroom! Haha he must have gotten sick of being a clean freak in acnl and decided to just let go in hhd!
Oh and it was great to see the new 3ds reader in action! I've also been debating on whether go and get the new 3ds. I was holding off when it came out last year, but the limited edition HHD 3ds XL that's out right now looks sooo pretty! Of course, if I do that, then I won't be able to buy a whole lot of amiibo cards. Ah, tough decisions...

The concept is indeed a bit wild. But thank goodness you can decorate the houses yourself. My first free amiibo was Digby xD Then I proceeded to get 4 Digby's in a row. (In my first box) It was not good..
Oh I miss playing ACNL TT I'm so preoccupied with so many releases. Not enough time and money in the world to have all the games + to play. I was on the fence on getting the new 3DS as well. But there was a lot of games in the future that needed the Amiibo capability. So when Target had a big sale I got one xD. Then the HHD limited came out and I wanted to cry haha.

The audio was fine and that's so sweet! Thanks for even thinking of sending one over. But I'll be fine. It'll definitely be easier to find Booker since he's a special card, but I know I'm going to be frustrated if I end up getting duplicates of anything.
Where I live (Australia), Target's actually having an online sale right now with a further 20% off the bundle 3ds, but they only have the normal 3ds while I want the XL. So frustrating because otherwise I would have gone and bought it from Target rather than from another store that's got an offer right now where you'll get a free game with purchase.
Haha yeah there are so many gaming things I want right now, and I'm going shopping tomorrow and am worried I might come out with all those cute little amiibo yoshis! If animal crossing had more plush toys of the villagers I liked, I would be doomed and buying all of them. I'm actually thinking of getting another cartridge for acnl! I wonder if I should get Copper instead of Booker Haha. I've never had him before, but by the looks of it I prefer Booker.

Oh! I'm so sorry about the hhd 3ds and its unfortunate timing for you! I was like that when I wanted to get the acnl 3ds, but I could only find them on ebay for double the price and refused to pay that! I think you could still get the cover plates if you really wanted them. The xl's a little different in that it's part of the 3ds cover and I really, really love the apple green colour of the back of it.
I was debating on getting the navy 3ds xl because I really like the colour! It's much nicer than the colours you could get for the old 3ds.

Oh my gosh I live in Australia as well. Sydney to be precise. I was wondering why you were on at the same time. e.g morning hahaha! I was tempted to get the New 3DS XL in the beginning. But after using the smaller New 3DS I realise it's a lot better. I have miniature hands. So the smaller console works in my favour Plus the cover plates are super adorable.
I'm too afraid to collect anymore amiibo. It's hurting me financially and I'm still trying to recover from the damage earlier this month. Sobs. So I'm kind of in the same boat as you are. Me too I envy the Americans who can get another copy for just $15 US. I would have got one by now during their black Friday sales. Too bad it's regionally coded. TT"

Oh wow! I live in Sydney too! I figured most people on here are from the US, so thought you were from there. Yeah it's a little weird what times I can be online compared to others.
I stopped carrying my 3ds around because it's too heavy with everything else. But oh wow if only I could streetpass you! I've had a total of zero so far and gave up on it because none of my friends even play with 3ds. Let alone animal crossing. Haha. I've always wanted the presents you can get. Or being able to order furniture from other people's homes.
Lol I have bigger hands so I think the smaller one might cramp my hands up. The xl I currently have does kinda get heavy after a while if I'm silly enough to hold it and not just leave it on my desk. And I just found out you could've gotten a pre-order bonus with the 3ds system and am regretting not getting that! It's just a little pouch for the cards, so it's not the big of a deal... but still! I would've liked it anyway as merch.
Omg you need to step away from buying things if it's making a huge dent in your bank account! I'm trying to justify my spending as a birthday and Christmas present! ><" And yes, it was that $15 thread that made me want to get a new game! Now I want a new town for new fruit and different villagers and just more control over what I do with my landscaping. I can't believe it's that cheap over in ths US!! It's still full price here! D:

Haha, normally people are either from the US/UK. I'm surprised to see someone from Australia too. Cause' we are tiny compare to those two xD. I still go to school/university. So there's a lot of streetpasses at uni. Or whenever I'm at the city I get a lot there too. Well you get to unlock balloons and stuff if you do enough stresspass for ACNL. ^^
Next time you want to preorder off EB games or something. Make you to price match it with another store. And not only will you get the bonus you will also get it for cheaper. So you just have to do a little bit of research. And don't rush in crazy like I do. TT"
I bought so many games and I don't even have time for it. Since I don't celebrate Christmas I have no excuse. But I still get them anyway hehe. I get it ): My current time is so messy I want to start fresh again. But at the same time I don't want to lose all the things I've hoarded over the years. The struggle is actually real xD
Well if you ever need any cards and I have extras. I'll be more than happy to help you. Since we're from the same state it'll be super easy too.

It's next to my old 3ds xl and I love that it's a glossy finish instead of a matte like the old one. Feels much nicer!
It must be so nice living in the city! I'm on uni break too, and was happy that I had afternoon classes this semester because commute is usually awful! I was in the city today and went to the EB games closer to the station but they didn't have the XL so I ended up walking to the one at World Square. That made me completely forget about the bundle deal and free game they were meant to give me! I'm probably going into my local one tomorrow and tell them about it. The game is Lego Hobbit which I have no interest in, but still, I should get the stuff in my bundle!!
Oh! Thank you for your useful tips when dealing with EB Games! I only started buying from them when I got HHD, which was less than a month ago and didn't know they price matched! Oh haha I'm only reading this now, but I know that Target has the XL about $20 less. Would they have price matched?! Or would they refuse to since they threw in a free game (which they didn't give me lol)? Ah well, I'm only going to buy a console once. I'll chalk up my losses.
