I got two ideas: A normal cat villager named Oreo (who does admittedly look a lot like Mitzi) and a new fish, the porgy. I even thought of the catch quote for it: "I caught a porgy! Do you think it's a mighty or armored one?" (Reference to the mighty and armored porgy from Zelda Breath of the Wild.)

Thanks! Oreo is a character I created (which I guess counts as an OC? I'm not really sure to be honest, haha.) She has beige/cream-colored fur and her paws, tail, and muzzle are chocolate-brown. She also has blue eyes and the inside of her ears are pink. I even have some information about her, like her birthday and catchphrase and favorite K.K. song. ^^
I also thought that we needed more Zelda references in Animal Crossing. There are the Zelda-themed items and villagers in ACNL and the catch quote from the original Animal Crossing: "I caught a loach! You don't suppose it's Hylian, do you?" But other than that I don't think there are many Zelda-related things in the series, which there should be!

Oh, for sure! And the catch quote is specifically referencing the Hylian Loach from Ocarina of Time (which was stupidly difficult to catch, I legit rage-quitted on multiple occasions because of it).
Oh, and you know how peppy villagers like to talk about video games (or at least in NH)? I was hoping that they'll have dialogue referencing different video games. For example: "Ooh, so there's this game about a mustachioed Italian who saves a fruit-named princess from a giant, evil turtle king! Isn't that so romantic?!" I can't think of one about Zelda atm, but yeah the example was about Mario if you couldn't tell, haha.
