9th villager will not leave

I know how to time skip to kick out villagers and I've successfully kicked out so many villagers, I nearly have everybody that I want but my 9th villager just will not leave. It's not within a week of their birthday, their house isn't being moved and they're not the most recent villager to move in. I'm approaching a time skipped year and the other villagers have all wanted to leave but this one, what's happening?! My last campsite villager that moved in was the same and I couldn't get them out, is it that the most recent mystery island can't move out as well as the most recent campsite villager?

Sounds like you are just having bad luck, sorry!

I believe the last villager to move in will not, or only very rarely, ask to move, but I don’t believe there is a distinction based on how they moved in.

sometimes the rng luck just roles majorly against you. It is very frustrating, I know. Best of luck in getting your move out request.

Sounds like just bad luck. I had that with Savannah- don't get me wrong, I loved her, but it was time for her to move on and she just would not. I finally used an Amiibo card to get her out.

The best option I can suggest is just do the method where you skip ahead a few weeks until you see a bubble- if it's the wrong villager, save and quit, TT forward a day, and check again. Repeat until it's the right villager. And keep in mind, sometimes the bubble might not be for moving- just keep trying. It'll happen eventually, one day at a time (and, of course, check the campsite any day it has visitors- if it's someone you like, it can make the process quicker, provided you're prepared to reset if they want to move the wrong villager out)

If you are doing that, and you've still done almost a year... dang, that's dedication on your part AND the villager's.

Thanks for replying and yes I have been using that method for a time skipped year, I guess I'll just hang in there and I'll probably see the villager I want pop up in the campsite before Hornsby wants to leave
