Resident Night Mare
First is my outfit from yesterday, because it was raining for most of the day and I still looked adorable. No, not at all modest about it.

It's the alpinist hat, green lace-up dress, bobby socks, and monochrome shoes. It was tough finding an umbrella that matched, and I finally ended up going with the forest one, although it wasn't perfect. I'll have to keep looking.
Girl needs to start using sunblock, though!
As I mentioned, the Elder Glade is essentially finished. I have to shake the perfect cherry tree behind me one last time, and I'll plant more flowers and mushrooms around the log bench and between the trees, but as far as major planting, it's done. I've got white cosmos there now, but I may sprinkle in some pink, once I breed them. I would've liked another bamboo on the right of the bench, but there isn't quite enough room, with the rock and existing trees. I think it's a pretty spot to sit and can't wait to see it as the seasons change.

Yesterday, I didn't have much to do, after I bought a moody painting from Redd. I was looking at how to define the path between the plaza down to Town Hall. I have perfect cherries planted around the plaza and picked a bunch. Then I made a path, 2 spaces wide, creating a tree-lined avenue. I was a little worried about the trees right next to the cobbles of Town Hall, but everything is growing well today. I'll snap a picture toward the end of the week, when everything is grown up.
I talked things over with Isabelle, and we are going to build another streetlight near Re-Tail. There's a light by The Roost, and one on the riverbank behind the Police Station. I'll put a final one in the park, below the fountain. That should give enough light for villagers to see. Oh, and we demolished the statue fountain that was between Town Hall and my backyard. I'm not sure if I'll expand my yard or put a small house for another person to move in there. If I do, it will remain a small house, only expanding large enough for secret storage. There's a possibility that someone could go below Re-Tail, near where Mathilda and Roald live, as well. Again, small house.
