OKay, so, most of us know that DLC shows up as slots, and each DLC takes up a DLC Slot, well, lets say that there are three items coming out, and there are three slots.

So I get item #1 and it takes up slot #1, but I do not have my internet on when they give out Item two, and so I only have one slot taken up, but then, item #3 comes out, which slot does it take up?
#2 or #3?

I'm pretty sure they take up slots in order of how you get them.

Let's say that you just got City Folk today. You get the Dolphin Model, and find out there were previous items like this. Slot 1, currently occupied. You hook up with a buddy and gives you a hotdog hat. Slot 2, occupied.

There is exactly 256 slots in a City Folk disc so that it will have plenty of room for DLCs.

OMG! i dont know if i have room in my basement for all those DLCs

are these slots visual in the game or is it just electronic storage? And do you have to be using the game to receive DLC items?

It has to be connected to the Internet and WiiConnect24 at the time, and then you have to play the game to receive the content from your mailbox.

There are 1000 DLC slots, but only 256 can be used on 1 game. Each DLC has a separate slot, so item 1 takes up slot 1 and item 2 takes up slot 2, if you miss item 1, item 2 still goes in slot 2, because it's programmed to do so.
