A FAQ about color changing? [CLOSED]

Alright, not to be rude at all but DON'T COMMENT unless you have a color changed title or have had one in the past!!
I wanna know EXACTLY how to make my name pink. I already wasted one name, i don't want to waste another! the first time i tried to do it i did #71c7ac. And nothing changed! I really don't wanna mess it up and I want to do it right.

EDIT: I'm going to save up even more bells for other things first before i do a color name change thank you everyone who helped me out and I'll keep all this for the future!!!

I literally can't remember how I did it. I bought it, but I changed it well over a year ago...
Sorry I'm not much help. However, I recommend you contact a member of staff regarding the wasted title change. I'm sure they'll be able to refund you.

What exactly does it say when you purchase a title/colour change? Did it ask for the value of the colour you want or did you have the option to choose one from a pallet?

OK well you go to configure it and type in the color name/hex code. its that simple. no quotations or [ color=#ffffff] stuff. I HAD TO GO BUY ONE AND USE IT FOR YOU. you better be thankful.

so i can do either 'pink' or 'FFC0CB'?? because the last time i did it like i said i did the hex one but i included the # symbol and nothin' happened. :<

JUST TYPE IN THE HEX NUMBER WITH THE POUND SYMBOL OK
the name color only applies to colours in the text color palette. yours (#FFC0CB) doesnt seem to match any of them.

also it gives you a preview right there on the page so like ??? you shouldnt have messed up the first time

When I changed mine, it gave me the option to put it in by hex value or the name of the color. I pretty much just typed in color names and previewed it until I was happy with what I saw.
