A few quick questions...

Can you go into someone's town when they are not online? Some of my neighbors have talked about someone named Andrew coming to my town, but I don't even know him.

Why am I not catching any Tuna or Lobsters? I have been trying to catch these 2 fish (they are the last ones on my list) and I can't seem to find them, all I ever get is sea bass. It's probably just because they are rare, but is anything else possible? (I also just got a lighthouse, isn't that supposed to increase rare fish?)

Is there any way to plant trees where they won't grow without hacking? I know I can't plant trees next to buildings, signs, and other trees, but there are several spots that should work, but don't. Hacking is a last resort.

Can you go inside the lighthouse? I read somewhere that you could, but I haven't been able to go into mine.

How do you get the alien to come to your town? I have heard about an alien possibly visiting towns, but after 1+ year of playing, I haven't encountered him (Although I did on my gamecube version) I have also heard of a mother and daughter coming? Idk.

What bug am I missing? I have 2 more bugs to catch, one I know is the Petal tail, but the other I can't figure out. It is between the bell cricket and more cricket in the bug guide.

Why is the town fund still open?I have gotten all 3 upgrades from the town fund but it is still there, can I get something else besides a bridge, fountain and lighthouse/windmill?

1. No. But hackers can change their names, so perhaps it was someone else who changed his AC name to Andrew?

2. No, they're just rare. Having a lighthouse won't help, that's a false rumor.

3. No, all towns have many dead spots where trees won't grow, unfortunately.

4. Not on City Folk. The GameCube version of Animal Crossing let you go inside the lighthouse when Tortimer went on vacation, but they did not include that ability in City Folk.

5. I recommend checking out this guide for tracking down the UFO. It still takes persistence, but you can do it if you put in the effort. The mother/daughter come occasionally if you play on Wi-Fi. One of them will be in your town and the other will be in a friend's town. You have to play together to reunite them.

Thank you so much for your help. It's too bad that most of your answers aren't what I wanted to hear. If only I could plant trees wherever I wanted and catch rare fish because of my lighthouse...If only. Anyway, you were a huge help, maybe we can visit each others towns sometime. Thanks!

Tuna and Lobster are more common in December than November, so yeah. Wait a few more days and you should get them both

I do know that on Wild World, the mother/daughter pair of cats come to town sometimes after visiting someone.
The mother/daughter would be separated and you would have to bring the daughter to the mother in the other town.
You would have to visit with the person again and whoever brings the daughter cat to the other town would get a present (if the
cats are the mother/daughter pair). If they aren't the pair, then I'm not sure what you are talking about. hope i helped.
