From what I can gather, here are the new information :
Gradual arrival of islanders
The way the sentence is coined makes it look like animal villagers will visit your island and might decide (or not) to move in. If they do so, you can see them start from scratch and build their own building (house I would guess, but if it refers to shop it might imply we will be able to chose where they are built on the island)

Whoa, that's awesome! I hope this becomes true :) Although I also hope it won't be too easy, as I also like the challenge of working around certain landscape features. In any case I'm excited to see how it'll be incorporated in the game!

My sister did the English survey and it said about NEW and OLD friends there too!
Also about sculpting the island and moulding it!

So who are the new villagers going to be in so excited!!! (●︎?艸`)?艸`)?艸`)

Thankies for sharing this!!! ♡♡♡

Greetings, been lurking for a bit, but this is something I feel like i could add to.

The part "die Landschaft zu dekorieren und umzugestalten" I, as a german, would more translate to "decorate and redesign the landscape" not really changing much on it, like the landscaping tools of sims as an example.

As for "G?rten anlegen" aka "build/make/create Gardens" it sounds more to me that they mean the same things we have been doing. Placing plants and trees in the areas we want.

Of course, I might be interpreting it wrong, so who knows for certain?

From what I can gather, here are the new information :
  1. Landscaping
It?s referring to actually changing the landscape of the island AND placing objects outside. There is even a mention of "creating a garden". It?s not totally clear how much of the landscape of the island you can change but it seems we?ll now be able to.
  2. Gradual arrival of islanders

Very glad to see the Daily Tasks from the CAT Machine are back. I love that there'll be something extra to do every day.

Thanks for bringing precisions to the table. It’s appreciated

This sounds so great! I am excited! I wonder how we can customize our terrain?

The Nook phone has a camera! So, does that mean I can spend hours taking selfies with my fellow residents?

And what's that bit about meeting old and NEW animals? Oh my!

Create your own neighborhood from scratch: See how more residents are gradually arriving on the island and plan to build new buildings

This confirms that you can turn your island into a town, right?

Also, source?

Where can I get the survey? I can translate everything if needed and maybe I will find something new or mistakes. Google translater is not the best tool xD

Never mind the translation is spot on ^^ The wand is the vault pole xD

This has me a bit curious, and also excited:

Now, now. Let’s not think that way just yet, this isn’t gf we’re talking about here (we won’t have an ac variant of dexit happening again like it did in the past)

Haha of course. I just found the wording rather interesting as "many" is used instead of some variant of all.
Regardless of what happens with the villager count, I will likely be fine with the end result.

For all that we know, they could just use most because a few (like 4-10) are not returning. As always the most likely candidates are the Sanrio characters, the 7-Eleven one, Bow and Meow, Chap, and the Nintendo crossover characters (Wolf Link, Cece, Medhli, Ganon, etc.) and some of the characters that have never returned from Animal Crossing (GCN), and Animal Forest e+. If any of these are not returning, Nintendo would not use synonyms of all.

Personally I wouldn't read into it too much.

The way I see it, 'many' refers to all of the villagers that you'll encounter in one particular save. It's (quite) unlikely that you'll encounter every single villager visiting one island, so I feel in that context it makes sense.
