How open are you to a new Animal Crossing game on mobile?
What would you like to see?
What do you not want to see?
Other thoughts?

Nope. I’m happy with Pocket Camp. I do wish we could customize the furniture including fortune cookie ones to different colors since there are a lot if furniture I think I’d like more if they were available in different colors. Like there is an awful lot of pastel furniture; I’d like a lot more that are regular — for example blue or a darker shade.

If they made Desert Island Escape in to a mobile app I would love that 🥺

I don't think we need another decorating based Animal Crossing app but if they wanted to do a different kind of game I would be in favour.

I'm not really that into mobile games. I have trouble finding ones I like or don't feel too intimidated to download. I tried Pocket Camp and wasn't really a fan of all the microtransaction stuff and the constant events, including ones where you just miss out if you weren't there. One-time events happen a lot in mobile games and I find that too much to handle after a while.
I got my phone after Pocket Camp came out and I honestly just played it with the hopes that the Splatoon event would return when Splatoon 3 released and I was actually correct. But after that, the game could not really hold my attention anymore. I got what I wanted, after all.
If there was another one, I'd probably get tired after a while and stop playing it too. I might also just not really be into mobile games because of my age.

I dont think it would be much different from Pocket Camp. You can probably emulate the other titles to have them on your phone!

But from what I've seen, people are very happy with Pocket Camp, so I don't think there's a need for one :)

I’m not really into mobile games, at all. I don’t have any on my phone. I used to play Pocket Camp, but I realized quickly it wasn’t like the mainline games. I prefer console Animal Crossing games.

Something similar to the GBA island for the next game, or a mobile Happy Home Designer would be fine, but I'd rather not see a full game on it.

Even if they made a true mainline game that costs money and was free of microtransactions, the controls would still be something I'd rather avoid. On-screen controls are not fun to use, and if you require a controller, you may as well stick to console.

I like Pocket Camp though my relationship with it has been a bit love-hate at times. I really do prefer PCC . Like Seastar mentioned above, the constant events were tiring for me. I felt like I always needed to play because if I didnt login I'd miss the newer items (which are all well designed so I always wanted to try and earn them). it wasn't fun for me so I weaned off and wouldnt play much. I definitely wouldn't want a similar game or for them to release another mobile game variation. I'd rather their team focus on a console mainline game, but it WOULD be nice if they included some of the decorating (furniture and such) and character cosmetics that they had in Pocket Camp in the next mainline installment.

I don't play mobile games much, and would prefer Nintendo to focus their resources on a new animal crossing switch 2 instalment.

There is still a lot to be leverages, I don't see why Nintendo are still putting wait screens on people arriving into other players towns when like GTA there's no disruption to other players. I think more emphasis on the multiplayer aspect and a good 10 players on one island at a time would be nice. Leverage the game chat function etc
