A new place to visit and Tortimer...

Just some thoughts and questions:

In New Horizons, do you think that there will be a new getaway place like Tortimer's island. Given it is on an island (the game itself) it would have to be different. Maybe even a city or village visit? Maybe they'll scrap the getaway island/place all together.

My next thoughts are about Tortimer. He has appeared in every game so far... but if there is no Tortimer island (especially with a new plot and no previous mayor) Is he going to appear again in New Horizons?

I would love to know all of your thoughts about this!

I mean, it would be kinda disappointing if Tortimer's island wouldn't come back. While I never used Club
Tortimer that much and doesn't care for it, I liked the main island for making quick bells at night as well
as for the mini games. It would be actually cool if they bringing it back as the neighbor island which is
next to your own island.

Alternative, now that I think about it, since Resetti lost his job thanks to the auto save feature, maybe
he's retiring too and either lives now with Tortimer together on his island or he maybe even gets his
own island. And Luna could also get her own island which would be then a resort island, where our
dear Brewster works there as a barkeeper and K.K. plays his live shows. After all, it would be cool if
your island becomes the main island and around it there would be a few smaller islands you could
visit via the plane.

I'd be disappointed if we didn't get something separate to explore away from the main island/town.

On the other hand, of course Tortimer will be in this game.

There would have to be. They (hopefully) wouldn't confine us to our own island.

Possibly Kapp'n will be there with a boat, or he may captain the seaplane and take us to various locations, like a mainland for shopping, and a Tortimer Island equivalent.

I can imagine there will be another island to visit. I really depended on the island for making bells. It was always one of my routines back in New Leaf every evening. I visited the island during that time because it was the best time go to bug catching and fishing. As for Tortimer, I'm sure he will be there somehow. Just the thought of them letting go of some of the special characters seems so sad.

I have a crazy unrealistic idea. What if Tortimer becomes Mayor of a town on a distant island? One that has shops like Able Sisters and Kicks. Isabelle could be his secretary. Unless EVERYTHING’S going to be crafted there have to be shops, but they can’t be on the getaway island because that doesn’t make sense

I still enjoy the peace of the island and doing tours from.time to time so I hope so.

I would be really sad if tortimer disappear so I hope all NPCs will be there in NH, I think tortimer island is a good idea to meet others players so maybe, they will keep it. I hope.
