Hi,

I have laid out paths in my town, but I always accidentally wiped it out when I tried to pick up a fruit or a coin. It has been really annoying to me. However, I just read something about a "pattern holder character". I then realized that the 2nd character could be a pattern holder. My question would be:

1) If my 2nd character laid out the paths/pattern, could my main character wiped it out accidentally or on purpose?
2) If my 2nd character put a design in Able's Sisters, could my main character redesign/replace it?
3) what about town flag, museum posters, etc?

Thanks.

1. Yes. Only visitors from another town can't accidentally wipe it.
2. Your main character can replace it, but they can only redesign it if they designed it in the first place.
3. I believe those can only be changed by whoever owns the room. However, you don't have to keep the pattern onhand once set (Same goes for your flag, sign boards, and face boards)

1) Yes I have a separate character for the paths and I still find myself wiping it off.
2) No it has to be the person that designed it in the first place that gets tp re-design it.
3) Town flags and museum posters stay the same even if you put them into your storage for your patterns which I think is very useful!
Hope it helped!

Thanks for all your responses.

Then is there a way to fix the patterns on the ground?
