A Question About the Forum Currencies

Hello! I am new, as you can see by my join date! I still don't know everything about the forums. One thing I have a question about is the currencies. I know how to get bells and spend them. But I noticed there were several others, I also obtained 10 seashells upon joining the forums, is this normal? I already spent them on the shop. However, I don't know how to get more, and I have NO IDEA what the other currencies are for or how to obtain them. Can someone answer these questions for me?

I joined long before they were introduced, so I never got them, but I am 99% sure they are just a temporary currency for newcomers to "get started" on the basics of the shop and stuff. This is to help them buy the add-ons and stuff. I'm not entirely sure if you ever get more.

You can just use TBT now, now you know what they are!

nothing in the shop costs more than 10 seashells. but since you only receive 10, you do have to pick which items you will get as you wont be able to buy them all with just 10 shells... you won't receive more shells, so you would subsequently have to earn forum bells to buy additional items from the regular add-ons/collectibles shop...

also, you can earn forum bells (aka "tbt") inn transactions with other members, or by making posts on most of the boards here you will automatically receive a few forum bells for each post...

Tickets are for the bell tree fair and eggs are for the bell tree easter egg hunt. These are forum events that happen at certain times during the year.

yeah the other currencies are for specific events, which have their own collectibles shops which are the only places you can use those currencies. next month may have an event, the Bell Tree Fair.

and you can only earn those currencies by participating in the events. also, they are not tradeable between members
