If you have general question about an image for a signature, then the answer might be in the Signature Guide Thread.
Furthermore, the Bell Tree Rules and Guidelines gives a list of prohibited content including: violence, racism, terrorism, obscene content, pornography, nudity, sexual material. If your image doesn't fall into these categories then it's probably fine, but if it's on the edge, then I would do what Skyfall suggested and message a moderator just to be safe.
