Although I have a Tumblr blog for this, I was planning to post here eventually and decided to include what I post on Tumblr PLUS some bonus stuff! So in other words, I bring the experiences of New Yolk right to TBT's doorstep. :3c

I have high hopes for anyone following this to have fun reading the lore, development, and happenings of this rather loose storyline surrounding my set of villagers in my ACNL town.

Life made lemonade just for you, make it into a whole avenue♪
Hello world! To start things off on this Animal Crossing blog, I figured the best way to do so is to show my home!

Within the city of New Yolk, you can find a big house with a very sweet door with many purple, pink, and blue roses surrounding it on Lemonade Avenue. I, Pie, am more than happy to show one of my common outfits you may see my character wearing on a frequent basis. I’m a big fan of Sukajan, or souvenir jackets, and marching band uniforms, so why not try to combine the two? :3c

The City of New Yolk…
Seems you’ve landed in New Yolk… a strange town filled with way too many blue roses and where you can meet the residents and Mayor Pie! The streets of New Yolk are paved with musical and foodie goodness in the form of actual piano steps and cracker and chocolate-esque pathways.

This map is subjected to change depending on anyone moving out and/or moving in!

Neighborhoods

Noodle Woods
The dense bamboo forest that is the Noodle Woods is home to a few that prefer a quieter way of living. Hot springs are the main attraction to this part of town, but beware of all the ditches filled with water as there’s a number of them you can fall into!

Hello Orchard
As soon as you exit the train station, presented before you are various fruit trees! New Yolk tries to feature as much fruit as it can right up front without you having to travel far to retrieve some. The city’s native fruit are apples, just look at the perfect ones!

Velvet Park
Velvet Park includes Pasta Plaza where various events can be held! Filled to the brim with lovely features, a playground, water fountain, drinking fountain, flower clock, and the Rotating Cube are all found in this neighborhood.

Blue Rose Hills
Over Sunnyside Up Beach are cliffs and hills that hold the town bell, windmill, campsite, and fields upon fields of blue roses. All naturally bred over time, the blue rose population would be even more out of control than it already is if not for the roads holding it back. This place is reminiscent of a dear friend Mayor Pie had, and you’ll even find her big home and close neighbors of hers along Lemonade Ave.

Persimmon Forest & West Cider Boulevard
At the bottom of Blue Rose Hills is a lily and tulip garden that is home to the entire drama of New Yolk. The neighbors here all create quite the soap opera, and there’s no telling what will go down as you wait for the bus nearby Persimmon Forest. Do beware of roaming with Persimmon Forest at night as its been rumored some large shadow lurks there. Perhaps the lighthouse is one source of comforting light here.

Carnation Cliffs
Walking further east down West Cider Boulevard, after passing the perfect apple orchard, the sides of the road are filled with carnations. At this point you have reached Carnation Cliffs, which feature a Wisteria Trellis and Carnation Police Station. Only one resident has ever lived in these parts, and might we say, his name is quite fitting considering his surroundings…

Nobody can replace the only you, just gonna befriend a new sweetheart times two♪
As the first random doodle of a comic to post here, I decided to start off about how my first wolf villager, Fang, left my town back in 2016.

I started playing ACNL in 2015 when friends of mine finally convinced me to get it. I was an adult in my second year (?) of college totally late to the game in more than one meaning of the statement, but I was pleasantly surprised I was playing this everyday (somehow before morning classes...). I really loved wolves (still do), so having Fang as one of my starters was fantastic.

[*ahem* in-story mode time]
A year later I stopped visiting New Yolk in August probably due to it being my final semester of college starting, so you know a month passes and I'm like "Ohhh boy, who left..." Sure enough, in my inbox, there's the 4th pic Fang sent to me of the same photo... but now it was a goodbye picture.

Jumpcut to next year, and someone who followed my online art gallery contacted me about a character design trade we were working out. Out of nowhere they brought up how thankful they were that I had talked them out of quitting art all together due to giving them words of support a long while back when they were going through a tough time. Next thing you know I received an early birthday card and a whole bunch of other things in addition to what we agreed on as a trade. To keep this short, they sent me Chief and Kyle Insta-invite cards (Amiibo Cards, but in this storyline we'll call them these :'3)!!!

So whenever I run into Kyle and Chief, I remember this time and how much it really matters to offer comfort even if you count yourself as a stranger. You never know when you might stop someone from giving up something they poured their life into.

I still miss Fang very much, but there's no doubt... these two wolves are just as dear!

Woo absolute late reply, but yessssss it's a pattern I found on a Japanese blog!

I tried to base it off of how my yard looks in-game. (Though in this shot you can't really see the whole path leading up to the flower arch/piano stairs haha) Thank you so so much!!

An Passage from Chapter 3
"With the candles from the chandelier illuminating the entire atmosphere, such a gentleman such as Wolfgang could not be missed. Stepping right into the ballroom, Wolfgang brought attention to his person. It wasn't his hair, which was rather groomed and windswept, or his very stylish suit that drew in everyone's eye, but a silver can that didn't quite blend into the party scene.

Chief glanced over out the corner of his eye to see no one was safe from this salesman, not even at an extravagant event like this one. 'How can you invite yourself into this friend-only ball and so boldly set up your shop here?' a low growl of a statement flowed from Chief. The annoyed snarl in his face expression intensified at the sight of Wolfgang putting up a flashing sign pointing to his latest edition of Marvelous Money soda flavors. 'Blatantly you're ignoring my words like this?!'

Perhaps Lobo quietly approaching the stand and grabbing a lemon-lime can was what initiated quite the scene. While the well-dressed but not as well-mannered gentlemen were sorting out a new conflict, I rushed through the chamber doors and felt overwhelmed to see all the beauty around me. I was overcome with glee to be invited to such a party, why it was too magnificent not to be!"

In literally every picture I've drawn Wolfgang, he's always drinking something. I didn't do this on purpose, but now its canon that Wolfgang carries around some sort of lunchbox refrigerator or something. :'3

Til this day, I’m still suffering from lost of space. Someone please help me, my poor town...

This was a giveaway I hosted with Wolfgang on Reddit and Discord (he was more of the “moral support”). There’s so much storage available, yet when you start trying to collect stuff to trade, customize, or just buy up RV items because “OMG RARE”, it starts getting way out of control.

"I don’t think folks appreciate real good sci-fi anymore.”
It was the day of Valentine’s Day when I got a letter in the mail from Antonio with a big chocolate heart attached. It was the only letter I got and I cried so much, i immediately had to find and hug him!!

Wolfgang on the other hand presented his own gift: literally a clipboard with this petition on it. “Happy Valentine’s Day, go get me some major support for old Star Trek shows to be aired here,” was a statement of absolute dedication from Wolfgang to make me continue running errands for him. Needless to say, I traveled to possibly three?? maybe four towns to complete that favor.

A new year toast to the fruits and blossoms I adore the most♪
Our good pal Wolfgang moved in just in time to celebrate the New Year in New Yolk.

The wreath represents how his garden is decorated with red, gold, and black roses and how his home is surrounded by the Persimmon Forest. He lives right down the street from Carnation Cliffs where the wisteria trellis is, so a bit of that is present in the wreath as well.

Wolfgang loves a real good party, and New Year’s Eve with sparking cider was no exception. He looks real forward to a good time in New Yolk, including having a few surprises for the mayor and some real good sales to fund whatever he’s saving up for. (May to invest in more “50/50″ art for more profit)
