I just do it sometimes I dunno
I was hoping to make an art shop some day but the dream slowly died

This took 10 mins to draw and an hour and a half to color, dumb paint tool didn't work right ;-;

I don't have a drawing pad-tablet thingy so yeah.
And everyone says it's flat and needs to be shaded.
I dunno, when I shade it looks forced and out of place and I can only draw flat ;-;

Dude open up the art shop if you want. It's a good way to motivate yourself to draw and the only way to get better is to practice.

Maybe your art isn't he best, but nobody starts perfect. Keep at it and you'll be great.

Also, are you using layers when you colour? If you aren't, it might be the reason why it took so long.

A small trick you can do with coloring, and this is assuming you're using SAI.

On the layers window, there are 3 boxes above the layers menu: Preserve Opacity, Clipping Group, and Selection Source

Select Selection Source.

What this does is it uses that specific layer as a reference point to guide other tools. Such as the bucket. So what you do is you designate you line layer as the Selection Source, open up a layer underneath it, select the bucket tool, designate it's target as the selection source (from Working Layer), and then on the new layer, use the bucket tool.

What this does is treat the new layer as though you're filling in the layer with the lines, but you're not, and it makes it very easy to change after you get all the colors down.
