Absolute and complete newbie says hello!

Hello! I'm Emily. I'm 100% a newbie not only to ACNL, but to the Animal Crossing series in general. I recently decided to cave in and buy the New 3DS (and a copy of Monster Hunter) when it came out and quickly snatched up all the old games that I had wanted for the system but had never had the chance to play. Almost instantly I became an ACNL addict.

I'm sort of sad that I missed the hype train when the game first came out, but I'm glad this forum still seems to be a lively community.

A bit about me: I'm a mid-20's nerd, self-employed (selling on Etsy), and am wholeheartedly obsessed with botany and plants, and to a slightly lesser extent, mushrooms and insects.

Welcome! It's funny that you mentioned it, but I happen to have Animal Crossing installed in my Monster Hunter 3U bundle 3DS too!

Yes it is haha. It's just a picture I happened to have from last autumn picking when I picked apples for the orchard down the road. I didn't know what to put as an avatar and the apples just seemed in line with my town, so...
