Okay so funny story!! When I was first on TBT i had like over 1500 bells on this site! And at the time, I didn't realize that they were worth so much!! So I really wanted the Weeding Day set so I found someone selling and they didn't take in-game bells. I hadn't really made any transactions over the forum at the time, so I was super confused. SO I asked the user selling the set how much would be fair and they said "you have 1823 bells, make an offer!" And I said 1000 because I thought the set was so rare and they like... didn't even tell me that it was way too much and they knew I was inexperienced on this forum at the time. I'm just so upset that another user took blatant advantage over me at the time, AND THEN had the nerve to ask me to sell them the rest of my bell tree bells. Like I know I was super naive, but like I'm just upset and baffled that they didn't have the decency to let me know that it was way too much for the set. This was back in like 2014 I think but it was just so nasty of them but.. idk. I was foolish. But I am still bitter!! Like I wanted to message the user and say something like... "How could you do this to someone??" but the last time the were active was 2015 :')
Anyways rant over!!!! I'm just.. in a mood.

If yall want to tell me about any times that anyone has taken advantage over you on this site, I wanna know!! I can RELATE.

Rekt. Not on this site but other sites and games. I assume you've never heard of a game called dusk. It's a mobile game but right now the mods have it completely off the radar and you can't log into it because they are doing serious overhauling. Check it out at rigor and mortis.com on the forums. Anyway, advertising aside i was trying to save in game currency when i first started for some gear that a player was selling at the auction house. So i was walking toward the no pvp safe zone and suddenly some naked runs right up to me so i hurry the heck up knowing very well people without armor and weapons can destroy you with magic. So after a while i leave the safe zone and he is right there still and he messages me saying something along the lines of come here, i'm selling stuff. So i was wary as hell but as soon as i got close to him he used an ability only liches can get and did a huge amount of damage. He killed me after that and he kept the only entrance to the safe zone of lock down and it took some of our most experienced people to kill him
Edit: The dude was apparently infamous for telling new adventurers he can take them on adventures with him and after a while of them being his companion he would kill them for their good items and the xp you get from higher level players
