AC FIGHTING TOURNAMENT POLLS - Concept & General Discussion Thread

Hello Bell Tree users !
The next wave of polls to invigorate the community is coming very soon !

It’s a little special this time, I’m organizing a FIGHTING TOURNAMENT !
This is the general thread were I will explain the concept, you can also comment during the whole tournament here if you have questions or commentaries about it and all the fight polls.

THE CONCEPT
So. Just Imagine. If Animal Crossing was a fighting game ?
If villagers were Street Fighter/Tekken/Dragon Ball/Naruto/Super Smash/Power Rangers/Soul Calibur characters ?
I know it’s usually peaceful in the AC world, but I guess it’s time for combat.
So, ARE YOU READY ? FIGHT !

HOW TO VOTE ?
Just vote in the incoming polls for the villager (or villagers) you want to win.
You have to imagine them fighting, your vote is not only based on your personal preference, please also consider all the criteria possible like species, personality, fighting mood of the picture, etc.
You can always justify your vote by explaining why you think the villager would win the fight, I think it could be very funny to imagine their special attacks lol

HOW IT WILL GOES ?
I selected 64 villagers which I think could be seen as fighters.

1st WAVE : GROUP TEAM BATTLE
Fighters : 64 villagers
Battles : 8 polls => 4 villagers VS 4 villagers
Winners : The team of each match that get the most votes continue to the next wave but will be splitted as duos.

2nd WAVE : TAG TEAM BATTLE
Fighters : 32 villagers remain
Battles : 8 polls => 2 villagers VS 2 villagers
Winners : The teams that get the most votes continue to the next wave, but as individuals.

3rd WAVE : BATTLE ROYALE
Fighters : 16 villagers remain
Battles : 4 polls => 4 villagers per fight
Winners : The 2 villagers that have the most votes per poll will continue to the next wave.

4th WAVE : VERSUS BATTLE
Fighters : 8 villagers remain
Battles : 4 polls => 2 villagers per fight
Winners : The 4 villagers that win their match continue.

5th WAVE : GRAND FINALE
Fighters : 4 villagers remain
Battle : 1 poll => All 4 villagers
Winners : The podium will be revealed by your votes.

DISCLAIMER
- I will made the teams for the GROUP and TAG TEAM BATTLES trying to make them fun with a theme.
- Random drawing will be held by me each time to know the fighters present in each poll.
- This tournament is not an incitement to any form of violence in general or disrespect to other users, here we talking about imaginary characters, the goal is to have fun, please stay nice to each other when you'll root for your favorites

This is such a great idea! I commend you for being original in the flood of polls that are out there! My favorite teams would be Wolves Gang (I’m guessing “Wolf” “gang” is the leader! ) and Handsome Power!

I'm loving these polls so far, but I have a quick suggestion that might work for this main page. You could use greyed out villager pictures/posters to show which ones are eliminated from the tournament, and leave the ones that are still in full colour so you can recognise them easier. If you use an online sepia filter you can usually do several villager pictures at once, so it's not too hard to do.
