AC:HHD Bundle, Anyone get any faceplates yet?

So I pre-ordered the cover plate HHD NN3ds as soon as I could but I also knew exactly what cover plates I wanted. I'm curious if any of you have already bought some cover plates or if there are certain ones you're going to buy later.

I bought these a couple of weeks ago and they came in from Japan a few days ago ^-^ I can't wait to use them!

I ordered the Nooklings plate a few days ago. I don't want to spend too much since importing is rather expensive, especially considering how poor the Canadian dollar is atm . I'm interested in getting the kyary pamyupamyu (#53) and Kirby (#58) plates at some point.

I ordered the plain green plates (No. 036) and they came in the mail yesterday! I like their simplicity.. I think they will go with the white well. Plus they have that nice matte texture which I love.

I don't mind at all anything to help a fellow gamer lol I got it off ebay for $20 with free shipping straight from Japan. They also have it on the playasia site but I think it's like $27 total after shipping.

Oooh well your best bet is ebay if you want it cheap cause a lot of people sell stuff with free shipping and thats usually where you end up paying the most.

I bought #006 (black and white stripes), #052 (Kyary Eyeballs one), #031 (light blue gingham), and #040 (Pokemon ORAS). I bought all of them off eBay for around $50. Pricey but still a lot cheaper than they usually are.

Not that I have seen. As far as I know, these are the only cover plates out right now. Only in Japan too to my knowledge, I haven't seen them sold anywhere in the USA anyway.

Haha I'm not really a huge fan of the Isabelle plates (or any of the faceplates for that matter) so I just got the ones I really liked, I picked up 006 and 031 on the way because they're usually quite hard to find yet they were so cheap on eBay. I think I just got really lucky.

I don't plan on buying any more plates. I really hope that someone will start selling clear New 3DS faceplates so we can cut out our own patterns/designs and make our own faceplates. I know that there are third party sellers in Japan who make New 3DS faceplates but no one has created a plain clear one yet.

I just bought the #027 coverplates to go along with the coverplates from the bundle. I just wanted a coverplate that was a little understated but still cute for when I get tired of the overly cute ac coverplates haha

I personally got mine from amazon for 17 dollars and it shipped super fast!

No. 050 is not available anywhere. Probably the last time it was in stock was December of 2014, and it was only released in Japan. If you look on eBay or Japanese site you can find it... for about $100.

No one knows. It's never been restocked in Japan, and was never released in Australia/Europe, so it's not looking good, though.

Omg that is a genius idea! If we could print our own images and place them inside that would be amazing. Though I wonder if Nintendo would do it... people might stop buying faceplates if thats the case. I love the #31 plates good pick!

Oh no! Thats awful Try buying one you want on ebay directly from a seller in Japan. I got mine for 20 with free shipping. You should be able to find some good deals, just gotta look around a bit.

That's the thing, Nintendo most definitely won't do it. Hence why I am waiting for the 3D printing community to pick this idea up or for third party cover plates to be produced. The latter greatly depends on the popularity of the small New 3DS in NA though.

Yea that would be nice though since they would be technically be recreating part of trademarked product without permission then it could get them into a lot of trouble. Though noone ever really gets caught for it so it might as well be legal.
