AC Preorders from ShopTo

My friend Pre-ordered his copy of ACNL from ShopTo.net and today they emailed him a photo of the game all packed and ready to be dispatched on Wednesday. How cruel of them It's just going to sit there for 2 days >.<

Obviously I covered the name/address in the most artistic way I could.

He told me to use them from the very beginning because they offer it for the cheapest price; I chose Game just for the free figurine... Something I may well regret

I nearly went with ShopTo, they've always had the best prices (cheaper than GAME, eBay outlets and Amazon) and sometimes deliver a day early. If it wasn't for the fact that I wont be at home to sign for the parcel (and I want the GAME figurine) then I'd opt for ShopTo!

I'm surprised at how cheap they are 0_o
Next time, I'm definitely going with ShopTo.

Don't hold your breath with Game. They've just cancelled my last of us order because payment was declined, except they took the money from my bank account yesterday and now their web chat is offline. I've just reversed the payment with my bank so they can stuff it with my next pre-order.

Unfortunately there seems to be a lot of problems with Game this week :s

Luckily I received my confirmation email saying it had been dispatched this morning
Having said that, I probably won't risk it with Game in the future... I'm yet to hear a bad thing about ShoptTo!

Wow! I love how they sent him a picture I think I'll go with StopTo next time. Although Amazon have been good - got an email at 9am this morning saying mine is dispatched!! I might actually get it early...

I switched my order to simplygames.com this morning because of this. Within 2 hours they have a copy of the game dispatched and I opted for a courier so it will arrive tomorrow! - Had to pay ?3 more than my other order, but ?3 for the extra 2 days of happiness is worth it to me.

You'll have to let us know if you do actually get it tomorrow. I'm interested to see
I'm pretty sure they're not allowed to offer faster shipping before a released date. They can get in serious trouble for that. You may find they ship it a day late so it still arrives on the day/day before.

It says shipped on my tracking order, and I got an e-mail saying it'll be delivered by courier on the next working day. So looking good so far. ^_^
I think they've just mistaken the release date, as other games releasing on Friday do not have this as an option.

I ended up going with SimplyGames as well, got the same email(s). Now just waiting on a tracking number.

I use ShopTo all the time, I have never yet not got a game the day after ordering. All the way up to Aberdeen and on a free delivery basis, they are exceptionally good with this these days!

I got my picture of my envelope on Monday as did my other half, so CRUEL!!!!!

My friend swears by ShopTo. I nearly ordered with them earlier but decided to go for SimplyGames instead. I reckon both are as good as each other (ShopTo being marginally cheaper though)

I'll check them out too, you never know when they'll be cheaper .
Just checked my emails, Game have processed my payment so it looks like my bundle shouldn't be cancelled thankfully! (Was gonna use ShopTo, but wanted the figurine, they were only 14p or so more expensive at the time so I couldn't complain!)

I'm probably gonna try and eBay a figurine at some point haha.

A lot of GAME freebies end up being super cheap eventually, just about waiting for the hype to go down. I don't 'need' it right now, as it doesn't do anything except look cool
