I've been playing around with it, works fairly well. Doesn't have a way to save the qr codes once they're generated, though.

Does it also let you scan QR codes and see the design/pixels? Or is it just for the other way around?

No, it does not scan QR codes, just generates them

Downloaded it too, and it looks promising! I've been using some of my artwork and generating designs + QR codes from them and they look very nice. Will definitely use it once I get the game. Actual pictures don't work well though, but that's expected.

This japanese developer has taken a more manual approach to designs. But it comes out with better quality and you can set how detailed you want your photo to be. Don't download his other app because he says something like he cant update it or something, but the link above is the latest version.

EDIT: After my brother was fiddling with my phone, there is also a QR code option aswell! Too bad the app is in japanese!

You use it to draw patterns (for clothes, furniture, etc) and then the app creates QR-codes for them that you scan to bring into your game.

I own an iPod. but I would feel better if I could use the app on my Android Tablet or my Android phone

I was able to install it on both my Nexus 7 and my Nexus 4 ... I'm off to try it out.

EDIT: I can't quite find the convert to QR option in this app.

It worked perfectly converting a picture of my dog to QR for the game. You can even edit further details like (Author, Town, and name)

Keep in mind it is not compatible for nexus 7, so you will need to Root before you get it on the Nexus 7.

Ive tried using it on my ipod touch, but i cant seem to get it to work. Do the pictures have to be in a certain format? I try and open a picture but i cant select any of them ><
