AC Switch Console Restocked!

Hi all,

I thought it might be worth mentioning that many retailers got a restock of the AC Switch console today. I was able to get one from Best Buy. I don't expect they'll last forever so I thought I'd give everyone a head's up!

I just ordered the ACNH Switch through Best Buy earlier today...I'm beyond excited!

It was out for majority of Sunday, but then they gradually returned throughout Monday, seems like the Animal Crossing Special Edition return with a vengeance in this wave of restock lol - I'm in the Bay Area, and I have never seen it available for all options for such a long while: Not only are they in abundance in the store in downtown, they are also available for curbside pickup locally, AND actually available for shipping to your address (for the past 6 months, the shipping was never really available for my zipcode, yeah go figure)

Damn, I even took a few screenshots of myself putting one in cart and actually buying it XD

So on 9/25 Friday I FINALLY managed to grab my very first Switch Animal Crossing Special Edition, thanks to Gamestop!!
I noticed that there are random postings about a restock the night before, the Gamestop site crashed cos of PS5, but there was a very nice waiting room instead, so I just waited my turn there. Lo and behold after about 5 tries, I managed to purchase one, and Gamestop sure was super swift, as I received it yesterday, in just a mere 3 days. Got my 2nd one (as a surprise gift) from Bestbuy the same Friday morning.

If you are still on the fence, or thinking of a 2nd Switch, do yourself a favor and get this one now -
no matter what don't give in to the ****ing scalpers!!!
I LOVE this solid chubby restock, as for us who really wanted this unit, can have a go at it after missing out since launch, it also kinda *****slap those scalpers repeatedly as buyers no longer have to put up with their ****

Hot damn, didn't expect this so soon. I'm not getting it since I'm fine with my Lite and they are terribly overpriced should they do it in my country too.

Just hoping they will re-release cards worldwide, kinda regretting selling mine now lol

I saw that the cards are also re-releasing in my country! I have many series 1&2 cards and almost no 3&4 cards so I am super excited to get more of those for my villager amiibos. Hopefully they won’t cost too much.

It was tempting when I heard of this restock, but I already have a revised model switch with the better battery life. Plus I've gone all out with Splatoon themed/coloured accessories (Joycons, cases, gamecard holder, thumb grips etc.), and all that stuff would clash with the ACNH stuff.

I also realized the only thing I really like about the ACNH switch are the Joycon colours. The pattern on the back of the switch is ok, but I don't really like the dock. I also would have preferred the Joycons to be fully green and blue without the white backs. Still a beautiful system but it's just not for me.

Congrats to those who finally got one after wanting them since they were originally released.

It took me a while to finally come to a decision and feel content/not feel guilty about going with it. After contacting Nintendo Support to ensure that I would be able to transfer my entire island from my current Switch Lite to the new console this morning, I ordered the ACNH Switch from EB Games.

I'm so thankful that this console didn't sell out so quickly. I'm still a bit surprised about this; perhaps the demand has really tapered off, or the scalpers are out of money themselves, lol. Either way, I'm really satisfied with how much joy my coral Lite has given me and look forward to having the dock-able console. I'm also glad that I didn't go ham with decorating the Lite and getting accessories for it (other than a tempered glass screen protector).

I saw it at Wal Mart the other day, I was pretty surprised! Really glad to see the Coral Lite finally back after months as well, because I’m hoping to buy one eventually.
