If they ever whip out a new Animal Crossing, they need to add some major stuff to it. Like Jrrj said, ground fruit would be cool to see.

Before they even bother with making new fruit they should allow you to cook dishes in AC.
They should however avoid from making the game too much like harvest moon though, too much farming and cooking changes the course of the game.

They should have a contest where all the animals get together in town to cook their best dishes and you can go collect fruit or fish to make a dish with And you get a trophy with a pan on the top if you win lol. But ground fruit would definitely make the game better.
