ACNH glitch

Hello! I marked a recipe as a favorite to make someday when I finally had all the ingredients. That day has come, yet, the recipe is saying I still need the flowers required to make it. I have all 9 flowers in my pockets along with the other items. I tried unmarking as favorite, logging off the game, replanting & digging back up, as well as digging up original flower (instead of a hybrid grown.) Nothing is working. What am I doing wrong? Never had any problems until now been waiting to make a garden wagon since I got recipe. :..(

Do you have the entire plant (digging it up with a shovel) in your pocket or just the flowers (pressing Y standing over the flower)?
I don't think any recipes use the entire plant,so that may be the issue.

This. OP, you said that you were “digging” up flowers— flower recipes require flower petals, not the whole plant. Replant and pick the petals, and you should be fine.
