What do you wish they would add to the game to make it more fun? Also, what from past games should return? Acnh was my first so I don’t know anything about past games, but I would like to know what makes them so appealing to other players.

My update wish list:
An able sisters extension - you get one with nooks cranny so it would be great to get more variety each day.

More furniture and clothing - something every player wants.

More custom designs options! - Ugh! I want a pair of pants to match my shirt designs! And shoes. Or just give me a full body tights design option and I’ll be happy.

More dialogue - get me out of this loop.

More summer events -barely any smh.

Cooking - mmm. Need more food.

There’s another I forgot but I’ll add it later. Don’t get me wrong, I love the game. I just feel like it could be better.

I do really like NH but it has so much potential to be better. Some updates I would like to see are:

Brewster Cafe being added.I loved being able to grab a coffee and work there part time. Maybe adding that you could buy the donuts and sandwiches villagers walk around with.

optional buildings: I would like Leif to have his own shop, he could sell the missing houseplants from NL. I would like kicks to have his own shop as well.

Second floor of nook’s cranny for the furniture sets that are missing. Third floor for Gracie.

The return of tortimers island and mini games. It could bring back the missing NL fruit and some missing furniture.

Some new nook mile items.
Windmill
A greenhouse that can store bushes, trees , flowers and extra DIY’s
Flower arch
Wisteria trellis

probably not going to happen but I would like to be able to use the other playable character plots for extra villager houses.

More vegetables to grow.

Mini games to play with friends

Leif to move in to nooks cranky as an upgrade

To be able to buy nook mile items of any colour, or be able to customise them to any other varient that your island does not have access to.

And if we are going really crazy, the ability to change your airport colour.

A mix of old & new:
*Brewster & the Roost, and a greater selection of beverages, not just coffee to go but perhaps hot chocolate too, or diff types of coffee to go would be lovely

*Def the mini-games/Tortimer's island
I miss the toy hammer & its crazy whack the lawn mower game lol. Played w/ other ppl, it usually ended up with us bopping each other on the head instead, that game was just nuts :) The digging/matching game was also hilarious played w/ 3 other ppl, describing it as chaotic would be an understatement.

Also the hide & seek. Seeing the villagers peeking out & spotting them not even completely hidden always makes me laugh. Like Tutu half hidden behind a tree lol.

*I want the bags to be functional. If we're wearing backpacks, it'd be nice to have extra storage.

*To access our inventory when we're outside. Or at another island, like the locker & ATM in NL.

*More vegetables would be nice. I enjoyed the farming aspect more than I thought - I was stressed abt the red turnips in WW but I really like the pumpkins in NH.

*More interactive items like in Pocket Camp, like the freakin waterslide they had for summer!!! And basically the hairstyles they had over there too, I mean they had mermaid hair!

End game content. New Horizons feels like it has a beginning, barely a middle, and....that's it. I played New Leaf for almost two years. If I could keep villagers from moving away like in NH, I'd still be playing it. I'm about two months into New Horizons and I'm going out of my way to find reasons to keep playing it. What's there is fine, there just isn't much there. They desperately need to add end game content, or incentive to start over.

Was about to hop on here to say that. I really want to see Leif get his own place, even if it is crammed into one of the existing shops. And to see some way to utilize multiplayer better. It's cool to hop on online for the 1st time to see your friends island, but after that there's not a lot to really do.

Can you explain what you mean by end game content?

I'm just a little confused as I get bored of new leaf after a couple of months as I run out of things to do very quickly. You can only build up your town via pwp and that costs a lot of bells. So 99% of playtime is catching bugs and fishing.

But in new horizons I've been able to play the game for a year and a half. This is from crafting meaning you gather resources, being able to play day or night as you can sell and craft whenever, the ease of getting new villagers (and not having to worry about where their houses go) letting you experience new villagers as often as you want, the nook mile tasks giving you a constant stream of activities to do.

So I'm not saying you're wrong, just clarity on what end game content is to you

Yeah all of the AC games have never been end-game content. The idea of AC as a whole is that you are supposed to play it 'daily' for a long period of time. There isn't any end game content. You may have goals you want to put in place.

Unless they mean more stuff added for progression. Like extra upgrades, shops, ect.

It wasn't much, but in New Leaf you could unlock the Museum giftshop, and then have 4 large rooms to decorate.

I know for me at least, it took several months to unlock the last Nook's Cranny upgrade. Aside from the needed time passage, passing Gracie's test was the hard part.

There was also the goal of unlocking Katrina's shop.

And my personal favorite, for those nights when there was nothing to do, Club LOL with legendary DJ KK.

And of course, I didn't do this much at all, but Tortimer's island mini games and lobby

Also, there was the town records thing at the Tree in the plaza. It would show dates you and villagers moved to town as well as the date you unlocked new shops. New Horizons doesn't have this, and to be fair, it could never work since New Horizons doesn't have as many upgrades to show off in the records.

I did think they might have meant that, but they also said that they played for nearly 2 years, and apart from katrina, you can fully upgrade main street within 2-3 months if you're actively working towards it. And if you're not working towards it, then it's just doing the same daily content that new horizons has pretty much so personally I dont count it.

That's not me discrediting the evolution of main street though. It was very satisfying to watch build up over time. I think the only 2 things I didnt get was the last upgrade to nooks and katrina because I didn't have the energy to deal with that haha

Not sure that system would work so well in new horizons unless we got a main street type island to fly off to as I think part of the reason it worked so well was that it was its own dedicated area that you could see the holes in.

my three biggest wishes:

i want the museum exhibit rooms back
graciegrace
most of the missing furniture items from new leaf

my wishes are honestly pretty typical lol, but;

like everyone else, i’m definitely hoping for some new furniture. i’d love to see everything from new leaf return (especially the froggy chair, dessert case, morning glory, all sets, etc), as well as some pocket camp items and some new stuff.

this kind of ties into my previous wish, but i’d love for there to be more nook mile stuff as well. whether it’s new furniture, features or a combination of both, i just want new stuff to spend my 1,000,000+ nook miles on. 🥴

i’d love to see all npcs return. ...except for lyle LOL.

tortimer’s island and mini games.

more house exterior customization options.

the amount of villagers you can have being increased to 12-15. please.

some QoL features such as a “add to cart” option at the able sister’s, the option to skip orville’s dialogue, being able to travel to another nook mile island from the one that you’re currently on instead of being sent back to your own island, etc.

more hairstyles.

the ability to have more than one custom design on your face at a time.

having your friendship with a villager increase when you send them letters.

being able to invite villagers to your house/having them invite you to theirs.

the treasure hunt is fun, but i’d really love to be able to play hide and seek with my villagers again.

the ability to hug my villagers. i’m genuinely desperate for this one lol.

and i think that’s it! i’m probably missing some stuff, but this is all i can think of rn. :’)
