Well a few days ago I believe they stopped producing the Gamecube and all 1st party games for it.

Well see ya. Wish your life didn't suck so much. :gyroidwink:

way to hope on a bandwagon. <3

the Gamecube was awesome. The "cool kidz" stopped liking it after a few years, so everyone followed in suit.

The Gamecube was amazing. All of the badmouthing is completely unjustified. Sure, it didn't have Grand Theft Auto, but in my humble opinion, it is the best system ever made. Not sales-wise, but software-wise. Not the most third party support, yeah (we didn't get that one Barbie game I think), but at least it was meaningful support.

Bul, the Gamecube was not the best system of all time....

What about PS2 or Xbox360?

Those systems have many games that people get the system for.

GCN had SSBM... and thats it.

AC and RE4 were nice and all but it wasn't system sellers.

Good job following the main opinion.

What about Fire Emblem? Viewtiful Joe? Windwaker? Metroid Prime 1 and 2? The Pikmin franchise? F-Zero GX? Killer 7? Do I really need to go on?

No. You don't

Also, the main opinion isn't always the wrong one. People think it for reasons, not because they don't want to be squares.

Xbox/360:
Rainbow 6 series
Splinter Cell series
GRAW
GRAW2
Halo
Halo 2
Gears of War
Viva Piniata
Xbox Live Arcade
Prey
Oblivion
Elder Scrolls

And so much more.

I'm sure a lot of people bought it for AC or RE4... so there!

You just listed games for TWO systems. How do you expect a comparison to be fair when you already make it unfair right off the bat? Two systems against one? :\

I bid a fond farewell to Gamecubes. I love mine. So many fun times....SSBM, Zelda, Baten Kaitos, and loads more. *fires off 21-gun salute*

Well, farewell old good friend. You were there when we had nothing to do.You were the reason the forum was made.

I agree with you there.

ahh I never liked the gamecube anyways, seemed more like a cannon system to me.
Tell me which titles you played and I'll tell you why you didn't like it.

It was kinda cool.. even tho the only game I still play is SSBM.. and my main reason to get one.

Windwaker was kinda cool too.. and Tales of Symphonia <3

farewell Gamecube..

Yeah...

the metroid primes were ok, but MP>MP2. (I played MP2 first though...) The pikimins... meh, not the best. But kirby air ride, ToS, windwaker, SSBM, FE: PoR, and the Zelda disk with 4 games on it all pwned.

Even though my Gamecube is unplugged and sits behind my N64, I still play GCN games on my Wii, which is next to my N64.

I only had two GCN games from it's life, both first-party, Wind Waker and Paper Mario. I was too busy with my GBA and DS in it's era. Now I'm playing my two Wii games, both EA, The Godfather and NFS: Carbon.
