Am I allowed to commission Adoptables for in-game Bells?
Specifically, adoptables like this:

I don't see why someone would want to adopt scissors with tails, but yes, you're allowed.

So majority prefers digital stuff then. Ok. Good to know.

You're missing the point of adopts. Most people adopt living organisms or characters because they can have multiple emotions and stories. I've never seen a pair of scissors express sadness or a desire to achieve anything but cutting.

I think it is very creative and different than the norm in regards to art being sold here whether for rlc, BTB or in game bells.

Ok so since my 3DS glitched out on me, which I'd have to buy a new one, I'll consider TBT bells.

10/10 can u make me a sonic one?

Cute. Have you been saving that one?

TrickYarn, though I understand what people are trying to say, some of their attitudes are really unnecessary. Don't worry about people who can't be bothered to show basic courtesy.

I personally like traditional art opposed to digital, as it's less common out there and has a much more personal feeling. I think the bold black lines and strong colors/patterns are nice elements to incorporate in future ideas, but it's true that your example is quite different from what's out there and hard to relate to. If you like drawing fantasy animals and such, maybe look at something like Pokemon or similar franchises for design inspiration and what people seem to like. Maybe try a few more conventional ideas to appeal to a wider group of people.

Don't be discouraged and good luck =) .

Well I can do animal-based scissors, or other things like video game related ones. Currently I'm doing one based off Okami.

mmm i agree i don't really like seeing people be ****ty b/c they think they're better at art or w/e than you. it's immature, imo. anyway, i think that you should be too discouraged. i'd been doing adoptables a long time on deviantart and starting out is kinda hard, ill admit. i think you have potential--even though the idea you're presenting right now may not be what people necessarily see when they think of adoptables--adoptables cover a broad variety of creatures, species, and humanoid/anthro designs. i suggest incorporating more of those colors and patterns into fantasy-based stuff like almyki said. you can even make your own species of adoptables that have unique and original traits/accessories.
don't let people get you down because maybe you're not quite at their skill level or that they don't like your drawings. everyone has to start somewhere. i bet with practice and patience, you can sell your own adoptable species.

The negativity doesn't actually bother me, because honestly I've been disregarded my entire life.

I'm gonna stick with making these Scissor designs, just cause I can.
