One step ahead of you and read that a few days ago

;) Nice to know some things have stayed in and they're not ALL gone, so thats alright. And i also want to see sonic dashdance, i bet it looks pretty cool and i also bet it's pretty effective.

Smash Bros. is probably the only multiplayer game made by Nintendo with a large hardcore following. With Nintendo WFC, I'm sure things may get very interesting, assuming Nintendo makes an effort to improve the overall experience.

Uhh, what about Animal Crossing? I was about to say something like Mario Kart... but you don't really see many people who focus mostly on Mario Kart.

You don't see many people coming up with "advanced techniques" for Animal Crossing, do you?

My point is, Smash Bros. has had a huge multiplayer following, enough so that that the hardcore fanbase actually has competitions, and with Brawl's online capabilities, it could rival Halo 2 in multiplayer success.

Agreed, many nintendo games have had a good bit of multiplayer success, but none have come close to touching melee in the multiplayer aspect. Many of my friends picked up gamecubes simply to get this game and to get better at smash and learn advanced techniques, and you don't see many other cube games doing that.

And now with brawl, it will also sell many systems, and I wouldn't doubt it will be a massive multiplayer hit like its predecessor. Especially with Wi-fi. And if the single player looking so good, i can't imagine this game not doing good...
