I've been trying to decide what to put on my Christmas list. I already own and enjoy WW and CF, and this is my question:
Is it worth asking for the GameCube AC? Is it just as good as the others?
I don't see the ponit of getting both CF and WW at the same time let alone the gamecube one too!
It would a disaster in my opinion. Just get City Folk it's the best of the USA 3.
City Folk and World Wide are quite similar to eachother. The GameCube one is pretty unique, although it doesn't have all the new perks as the newer games, it's still great. A lot of fans consider it their favorite game. I recommend it, especially considering how cheap it is now. As Jake/Bidoof said, you don't need a GameCube but you need a GameCube Controller and Memory Card.
I've made up my mind, and Thank you everyone for the advice!
I decided not to ask for it, for two reasons:
1. I don't have a memory card (I'm sure they're easy to get though)
2. I realized that once I get NL, any other games I have will likely fall into disuse for a few months, and so it wouldn't be worth getting the GC one.
Awww, if I saw this thread before I definitely would have recommended you get the Gamecube game. Either way, even if you don't it for Christmas you should get it at some point!
Wow! I was just looking at that journal; and AC for GameCube looks awesome! (of course, all AC games are awesome anyways...) Maybe I'll add it to my personal list of thingies to buy. :3
Out of curiosity, how many blocks on a memory card does it use?
I don't remember how many blocks but I do know that the game came with it's own memory card and you couldn't put anything else on that memory card because it took up so many blocks. I would get ACGC if I were you, it's more simplistic but it is definitely the most satisfying out of the three.
